A/N/: The cat suit is inspired by Mai-san from Bunny Senpai since I recently watched the movie. So the cat suit looks like that but with cat ears/tail instead of bunny ears/tail. That movie was amazing and I love Mai :)

The echo of clicking heels was the only sound that could be heard in the halls. Chiaki wore a cat suit while she strolled slowly with her hands behind her back. She observed her surroundings carefully while walking, admiring the slight changes in the building since her last visit.

Chiaki crouched down momentarily to peer at a small silver on the ground. It was shiny and reflected the small light that came from the windows. The tail on her outfit swayed back and forth. She picked up the coin and continued her way down the hall. It was quiet throughout the building. If she didn't know any better she'd assume it was empty.

Chiaki stopped before an office door and knocked gently.
"It's unlocked." The voice called. She opened the door and stood at the entrance for a moment. A smile came on her face as she watched Nanami working at his desk. He'd yet to notice her special choice of outfit or who had entered.
"Nana, I came to check in on you."
"I'm fairly healthy." He answered matter-a-factly before continuing his writing. Chiaki went over and sat on the desk but made sure not to get in his way. She crossed her leg over as her tail swayed happily.

Nanami finally looked up and examined her outfit. His remained unbothered by her revealing choice since he was used to it.
"What's the occasion?" He asked.
"Wanted a change of pace. Like it?"

"It looks just as good as anything else you wear." His eyes were mostly still focused on the work before him. She fidgeted with coin by flipping it along her fingers. Nanami's eyebags were fairly heavy and clearly seen when up close.

"When was the last time you slept

"When was the last time you slept."

"A couple days."

"You need to get some sleep." She tried not to look too concerned and continued to flip the coin around.

"I will in due time."

"Flip a coin?" She suggested. Nanami removed the glasses from his face and set them on the table. He reluctantly nodded and let out a sigh.

The two had met by chance when he was still a salaryman. Nanami briefly remembers their first encounter. It was about the time he came back from his regular office job. He had been debating whether he should return to his original path or continue his office job. Chiaki had been sent on her first mission against a curse alone. She had immediately froze upon being confronted by the curse and he had just happened to be around to help.

a few years ago

"As you are now I don't believe you're cut out to be a Jujutsu sorcerer." Chinami stated blatantly.

"I know."

"If you're aware than why don't you quit? You're still young. Start a normal, less dangerous life for yourself."

"I can't. I promised myself that I could be stronger." She looked down and balled her fists tightly. "S-so I wanted t-to ask if you could teach m-me!"  She suddenly shouted nervously. Nanami looked at her with a blank face. He placed his hand on his hip as he sighed heavily.

"Sorry to disappoint but I'm not a sorcerer. I quit."

"Huh?"  Chiaki looked up through her dark bangs.

"Being a sorcerer was shit. But so is working an office job. So I'm currently deciding which is more practical."

"Why not flip a coin?" She had blurted out. "I-I mean that's what I do when I'm n-not sure." Chiaki stammered as she held out a silver coin.

Nanami stared at her with a serious face. Chiaki struggled to meet his stern gaze and kept averting her eyes. They stayed staring for a few minutes silently. She shuffled awkwardly and started to become flustered. Now that she got a good look at his face he was fairly attractive.

"Flip it." He honestly just wanted to solve such a tedious dilemma.

"O-ok. Heads is stay and tails is become a sorcerer." She flipped the coin in the air and caught it as it came down. She flipped it over and then revealed the side.

"Tails." Chiaki breathed out relieved. He nodded in understanding.

"If I'm going to teach you, you need some dignity." Chiaki had hair covering her face and tried to push it away from her eyes. Nanami lowered himself slightly to meet her level. He took the hair from her face and pushed it back behind her ears. Her face began to heat up and get increasingly red.

"Something wrong?"

"I love you!" She shouted and turned her head down once again embarrassed. Chiaki had a habit of speaking exactly what's on her mind. She had earned a small chuckle from him. For a moment she had seen just a ghost of a smile.

Chiaki had confessed her love for him multiple times after that. It was known to everyone, her feelings for him. Gojo never failed to tease him about it whenever he had the chance.

"Heads is you'll sleep and tails you'll go out with me tomorrow after you sleep."

"Fine." He agreed absentmindedly.

She flipped the coin the air and flipped it over on the back of her hand.

"Tails."

"What was the agreement?" His eyes were becoming heavy as he struggled to stay awake.

Chiaki smiled and stood from the desk. She walked over behind him and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her chin rested on his head as he finally drifted off into sleep. She analyzed his desk and all of the different documents neatly stacked in multiple piles. Her eyes then landed on one of the frames sitting in the corner of the desk.

It was a photo of the two of them not long after their first meeting. She was smiling widely and clinging to his arm. Nanami had his usual stoic face and appeared to be fixing his glasses on his face.

Chiaki couldn't help but feel the warmth of her love well up inside her at the sight. She pulled him closer to her and whispered softly to him as he slept.

"I really fell hard for you, Nana."
