Itadori was left in Setsuko's care for the time being. She ordered him to meditate and control a minimum of his curse energy into his fists. They had been training for a few hours so Sekuna had left him to his meditation to make them tea.
"Hold this until I return." She went into her home and started to brew the tea. She waited patiently watching the kettle. That was until she started gasping for air. A muscular hand wrapped around her neck and when she peered through she realized Itadori was gone.
"Sukuna, I'm guessing."
"Well aren't you a smart one."
Setsuko was Semi-Grade 1. Her strength didn't even begin to compare to Sukuna's. She was still calm and steadily poured the tea into a small cup. Sukuna watched her closely from behind, trying to read her intentions.
"Not going even going to fight back?" He teased.
"I'm know when to choose my battles." She simply stated.
Sukuna forcefully turned Setsuko to face him by her neck. She figured it was bruised by how roughly he handled her. Although, what she didn't expect was the look of shock and horror when she met his eyes.
Sukuna removed his hand from her throat and instead lifted her chin.
"Who are you?"
"Terada Setsuko."
She was a spitting image of someone Sukuna once knew. Her face was engraved within his memories. Her name was Kanno Cho. The only person who he truly cherished. She was his only regret in his sinful cursed life.
"Kanno.." he whispered to himself while looking at Setsuko. She had heard the name before and knew the woman well. Since she was fascinated by the myths and legends of Sukuna: King of Curses. Setsuko read and analysed the killings as well as relationships. The higher ups disapproved of her research but she continued regardless of their warnings. She was an expert on most special grade curses and was currently trying to locate his various fingers.
"Kanno Cho. She was lonesome woman who lived in the mountains. She was one of your first slaughter victims."
Sukuna was visibly bothered by the description. His eyes became a darker red and his curse energy increased drastically but was still controlled.
"They're still trying to spread that lie." his voice was laced with rage and pain as he held her face. He looked deeply into her eyes while caressing her cheek. Once the realization hit him he hastily stepped away and turned with his back facing her.
"That idiot was just too gullible for this cruel world."
''''
"Sukuna." Her voice was stern and her eyes were dark. She walked towards me as her long dark hair swayed behind her. The woman seemed to live alone in a long deserted village. I prepared myself to rid of her like the many before her.
"Can you carry me with your arms."
I stared blankly at the woman looking up at me. She seemed small and fragile. Her eyes were a cloudy white. The woman wasn't at all afraid of my nothing short of demonic appearance. Instead she simply circled around me, feeling each of my arms.
"So its true there is a man called Sakuna with so many arms." she clapped her hands together.
"Who are you." It was more of a statement than a question but she still answered.
"I'm Kanno Cho." she had small smile and took two of my hands into her own.
I was silent and stared at her trying to read her intentions.
"Oh. I'm blind if you're wondering. But, come inside I'll make you tea since it must've been a long journey." Cho intrigued me with her fearless attitude. This was probably because she couldn't truly see and understand my horrific appearance. She also must not be in touch with other people since she thinks I'm just some bizarre traveling man.
I laughed aloud while clutching my stomach. I hadn't laughed this hard in a while. I mean how oblivious could this woman be to invite a complete stranger into her home. But, if I could go back in time I'd avoid that village and never met her. I'd let her live out her days peacefully and spare her of such a painful death.
She was too weak and generous for her own good.

"Sukuna? Is that you?" Her voice was weak and trembling. I ran towards the sound of her voice and that's when I saw her. Blood was seeping through her once beautiful clothing and her dark strands were spread wildly on the floor. And for the first time, fear was evident on her face. I lifted her gently with my arms and rested her on my chest.
"The kids. Are they ok?"
"What kids?"
"They came and there was curse trying to hurt the-" she winced in pain as she tried to point out the way that they ran.
Complete rage filled my body as I watched her face fill with concern. I couldn't believe that the one time she was truly afraid was because of someone else. She didn't fear death. She didn't fear that she'd leave this world along with me in it.
"What is wrong with you?" I muttered bitterly. Cho turned to me confused and still concerned.
"Oh, were you hurt some where?" She attempted to sit up but fell back in pain. Her scarlet blood flowing freely from the wound.
"STOP WORRYING ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE." She was surprised by the sudden change in tone. Her face softened as she rested her hand on my cheek.
"Who else am I going to find dumb enough not to be afraid of me." I chuckled and she pouted while hitting my chest.
"Hey, do you believe in reincarnation?" she asked weakly.
"No."
"Well humor me then. I think that relationships last into different lifetimes. So you have to promise to look for me in my next life."
"How am I supposed to know if you look completely different?"
"I know you will, because you're just that amazing." She stuck out her pinky and waited for him to grab it. Sukuna held her finger intertwined with his until she peacefully closed her eyes. Her whole body becoming limp and slouched into him.
"You couldn't even wait till I admitted I loved you. How cruel Ms. Kanno Cho." His voice was playful but was wavering. He pulled her close as a small tear fell from his face.
