Running into the ex

The last two days had been crazy, organising everything for my two weeks away with my friends. After packing about a hundred different different outfits, Ryan picked us up in his minivan and now I was currently sitting in the back squished up, next to Kyle. He had his head rested against me because he said he was tired but I didn't mind. I loved Kyle, I mean as a friend. I guess there was one stage where I liked him more than a friend but then I shrugged it off right when we became best friends. I started thinking about the next two weeks and how much fun we were going to have.

2 hours later I was woken up by a smirking Kyle when I realised I had MY head on his shoulders now and he was wide awake. How embarrassing, I hope I didn't snore. Anyways, after 20 minutes of unloading the car, we were all inside Ryan's beautiful beach house. "Wow Ryan, it's beautiful but we need to sort out rooms." I was pulled back by Kyle, "Actually Skye, we discussed that when you were asleep, there are 3 bedrooms and Dylan and Ryan took one and then Crystal and Becky took another which leaves one for us. Is that alright?" "Oh yeah of course, but they are single beds, yeah?" "Nah there are only Queens, no singles." "Okay, I guess that will be alright."

After everyone settled into their rooms, Dylan announced that we were going out for dinner and everyone should get dressed. So I went upstairs in my room to have a shower. Once I was finished, I wrapped the towel around me and walked over to where my jeans and top were. I dropped the towel only to hear a gasp and I turned around to a shocked Kyle who's eyes were running all over my naked body. "Oh my gosh Kyle, get out!!!!!!!!" "Sorry sorry sorry!" Oh my gosh how embarrassing. Once I got dressed I let him back in. "Skye, I'm really sorry about before." "It's alright can we just not talk about it anymore?" I laughed. He nodded an okay and we finished getting ready.

We were currently sitting in a cute little restaurant waiting for our food to arrive, we are all joking around and laughing for ages until a boy came over. Caleb. "Skye, is that you?" "Uh, yeah. How have you been?" Everyone at our table looked confused, they had no idea who he was and I had no intention of them finding out. "I haven't been too good since you left. I miss you like crazy, why haven't you been replying to any of my messages.?" It was right then that Kyle jumped in. "And who might you be?" Hmm let's see my psychotic ex who still after two years hasn't got the message that we are over. "I'm actually Skye's boyfriend." Here we go. "Caleb I told you 2 years ago when I left Warding high that we were over!" "And I told you that we could still survive with a long distance relationship." "Caleb what don't you get, I've moved on, we are over. End of story!" Kyle starts again, "I think you heard Skye, you guys have been over for a long time so I suggest that you leave and move on." "Whoever you think you are, you know nothing about Skye and i's relationship." "Sorry mate but I know Skye very we'll actually and I think it's time you leave." "Skye, is this what you want, for me to just leave like this?" "Yes caleb, bye." "Fine I'll do this for you Skye but just remember that we are still together and always will be!" And with that, he left. Kyle looked furious right now. "What an idiot!" "It's alright Kyle don't worry about him, trust me I've been dealing with him for years."
