Chapter 6Yami

In the morning the sun rays hit my face forcing me awake, I got out of bed washed my face in the nearby river waking me up instantly. I went for my daily hunt, bringing back 6 dead chickens. Three of them are for us but the rest are for my adopted father and the pack. I was hoping the hunt would relax him before telling him about the adventure me and Kogi are going to go on. I thought about it all night and finally decided that taking Kogi out into the world is the best idea, I can't just keep him in this forest for all his life he needs to learn about the world outside the forest and how dangerous it can be. But for now the real mission was to convince my father. When I arrived he was surprisingly awak he probably sensed that I wanted to talk to him. "What is it that you want, son." My father said, still half asleep from waking up. I explained to him that I wanted to go to kill a dragon and that Kogi really wanted to go, he was a bit doubtful at first but he came around agreeing to this but only if I promised to keep Kogi safe. I of course was a bit sad that he didn't say anything about me but he knows that I can take care of myself. After I did about a thousand laps around the forest as I do every morning. I went over to Kogi sitting next to him, shaking him a little "Well,are you ready?" I asked. Kogi woke up rubbing his eyes "Wait so you made your decision. We're going?" he asked, "Yeah, now get up and get ready if you wanna start early." Kogi quickly got up and ran to get ready. But then I remembered, we needed a map then I remembered the shop across town. As soon as Kogi got back all ready I told him we had to go to the shop, his face turned to disgust. I know he doesn't like that place but he agreed anyway. We both put our cloak's on and went through the forgotten passageways underneath the city all the way across it and in front of the shop 'Anything of Everything' the shop sign read which was swaying in the wind. I opened the door, it was dark inside then something out of the shadows ran up to us and hugged me.
