Chapter 4

Iwaizumi's POV
I groaned as I got up. What was on top of me. I lifted my head, seeing that Yui was sleeping on top of me, curled up warmly and her father next to me asleep. It was kind of comfortable, before I realized that the sun was rising and my parents would be up at any moment.

"Hey, you two, get up." I said, both their ears perking. Yui just yawned and scooted off of me and onto her dad. Her tail smacking me in the face in the process. Oikawa just muttered something incoherent and cuddled up with Yui. I sighed, not wanting to disturb either of the werewolves but I also didn't need my dad finding them in his home. Well. Mine technically. I paid for everything. But he was still head of the home.

"Oikawa. Get up." I said directly into his ear. Oikawa whined and flattened his ears against his head before looking up at me.

"...Why?"

"You can sleep some more, just in my room. I can't have my dad seeing you." I said, Oikawa yawning and pulling himself up and off the floor with his daughter in his arms. I got the two to my room, watching them go back to sleep under the covers before shutting the door.

"Morning Hajime." I quickly finished shutting the door, turning to see my dad. He smiled slightly at me and patted my shoulder.

"Hi dad."

"Glad to see you made it back from the tavern last night. Snow was getting bad."

"I know, don't worry dad. How's mom."

"She's as comfortable as she can be. Do you need to go hunting today?"

"Not in this weather. What I made through the fall will last us a bit longer." I said with a sigh. My dad nodded and went off to the kitchen to see what there was to eat. I followed and grabbed two pieces of bread before sneaking back off to my room. I opened the door, smiling faintly at Oikawa who was starting to wake up again.  I made sure the door was shut before walking over to him and Yui.

"Here, it isn't much but it's something to eat." I said, giving a slice to each werewolf. Yui was quick to accept the bread slice and eat it, Oikawa watching quietly before handing his piece to his daughter to eat as well. 

"Aren't you gonna eat." I said to Oikawa who looked up at me. He shrugged and ruffled Yui's hair.

"I'm alright, she comes first." He said, letting his tail thump a little bit against my bed. I nodded slightly as Yui at the second slice of bread, cuddling up to her dad before falling asleep again. Oikawa sighed gently and laid her down as he let his fall back.

"Are you alright?" I asked quietly, Oikawa nodding and looking at me.

"Uh huh. I'm sorry for our intrusion.. I wish that this storm would calm down so I can get her home."

"Where do you live?"

"In the woods."

"...Well yes, but in a house?"

"Oh, no. I live in a burrow."

"A burrow?"

"Mhm. It's one I dug out myself."

"I see. So. What about Yui."

"What about her?"

"I mean, where's her mother?"

"Oh... Um."

"I'm sorry, if it is a sore subject-"

"No it's okay. It isn't that. I found Yui when she was a pup and I took her in since she was all alone." Oikawa said. I nodded, sitting down with him and petting his ears again. Oikawa didn't mind, and even said he found the feeling very enjoyable.

Oikawa's POV

I climbed into Iwaizumi's lap without thinking. Guess I was just trying to get closer to what was giving me a good feeling. Plus, he was the only human really who's ever scratched my ears like this. Not that I knew any other humans really. 

Iwaizumi didn't seem to mind, using his other hand to pet my tail which was a bit more sensitive. I let out a tiny purr, leaning up and pressing my lips onto his. Iwaizumi looked shocked, pulling away and looking at me.

"What are you doing?" He asked, pulling his hands away. I tilted my head and wagged my tail.

"What do you mean?"

"Why did you kiss me?

"Mm?? Aren't we going to do it?" I asked curiously, Iwaizumi staring at me. 

"...Why would you think that?"

"Oh, are human signs of sex different?" I said, Iwaizumi slowly nodding. I smiled slightly in embarrassment and nodded in understanding.

"Besides. I don't know about you but I don't think having sex regardless right here with your daughter there is a good idea." He said, making me laugh.

"She and I live in the forest, she's seen matings before."

"...How old is she?"

"6."

"..I see." 

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. It's just that, kids don't normally see that stuff until they're a lot older." He said while clearing his throat. I shrugged and nodded, a bit annoyed now because I was prepared for a mating. But, I can't force him or anything. 

I got off his lap with a sigh, letting my tail flop into my lap. I wasn't female, obviously, so it wasn't like I went into any kind of heat like they get. But because my ranking has always been an omega, I was pretty much always mated by male alphas and even betas in cooler weather when there weren't any females around. 

And I didn't mind being mated, I grew to like it a lot. It always felt pretty good. Some alphas were kind of rough, but it was always about dominance. Iwaizumi got up with a sigh, shaking his head.

"Okay, I need to go out. You and your daughter MUST stay in here okay?"

"Okay.. why though?"

"Because my parents could find you."

"And I'm assuming that would be bad?"

"Very."

"Not a fan of werewolves..?"

"No. In fact, my father used to hunt them. And if he found them in his own home, he'd be more than happy to harpoon two at once." He said, making me feel a spike of fear. I knew that there were humans who hunted us. But I had an advantage when they'd come into my territory in search of me.

But in this house, not only me, but my daughter were sitting ducks. I nodded in understanding, Iwaizumi being cautious as he opened the door and left. I double checked that the door was shut before climbing back on the bed. I didn't plan on moving until Iwaizumi came home.
