Oikawa's POV

"So, did you like Kuroo and Kenma??" I asked with a small smile, Iwa-chan chuckling slightly with a nod.

"They were, interesting. I quite liked Kenma. Bokuto and Akaashi were, interesting as well." He said, making me laugh.

"Yeahhhh, Akaashi is nice enough I guess. I don't know either Bokuto or Akaashi super well, but I get a sense Bokuto isn't going to be asked to baby sit anyone else's babies any time soon." I said, watching Yui hopping in front of us.

I smiled faintly, holding Iwa-chan's hand as we walked. Despite the cold and everything that was going on, the scenery was beautiful. I mean, a woods covered in snow was always going to be pretty. But I couldn't stop thinking of something.

"Hey Iwa-chan?"

"Mhm."

"..What do you think happened to that hunter boy and the werewolf that they released into the woods back home..?"

"I don't know.. He seemed to know the werewolf. But clearly with what's happening. He could be dead."

"...Hold on, wait here and watch Yui. And if I come back and she's gone or she jumps on my head again, I will attack you myself." I said with a small smile, running off into the woods. I could run pretty fast, but only short distances. I shouted out for Bokuto, or Akaashi's name.

I heard a few hoots and followed the noise until I found the two of them perched on a branch of a thick tree, likely their home, in their owl forms.

"Are you alright Oikawa?" Akaashi asked as Bokuto was annoying him by trying to peck or clean or do something to his wings. Akaashi kept scooting away down the branch, but Bokuto would just keep scooting after him.

"Yeah.. Uhm. Could I ask you guys something? It's kind of a big favor.. but I'd appreciate if you could just take a look?"

"Bokuto stop it... what is it?"

"Back home, the woods where I live.. In the deepest part of it.. they released a black haired hunter who looked pretty young along with an orange haired werewolf.. I was curious if you could go see if.. either of them were okay...?"

I asked with a small smile. Akaashi was trying to listen to me before raising his wing and practically smacking Bokuto's beak. The two were certainly something else.

"Of course we will do this for you. Shall we find you at your birthplace when we are done?"

"Yes please." I said, so thankful that Akashi said he would do it. Bokuto agreed to go as well, so the two spread their wings and took off. I smiled, hoping that that hunter boy and Hinata were okay... I couldn't believe I had to see Hinata chained and muzzled while he was growling like a wild beast.

I recall a time I came across him sobbing in the woods. And I had asked if he was alright... He was crying because he found a stupid squirrel and it was knocked out of it's home. I could never imagine him to tear someone apart..

Bokuto's POV

I flew along side Akaashi. He kept his eyes forward. The flight wouldn't be too long, maybe a few hours like this. The trip would normally be a day or two on foot or horse but in the air, it went a lot faster.

"Akaashiiiiii."

"What."

"Awww, you aren't mad at me are you? Wait are you mad at me??" I asked, feeling worried. Akaashi turned his head to look at me before looking back forward.

"No I am not mad at you, Bokuto."

"But you smacked me earlier!"

"Because you were trying to preen me while I was speaking to Oikawa."

"I was just showing you I love you.."

"I know. And I love you too. But there are times that are not appropriate for that behavior."

"Aw come on we're all practically animals it isn't THAT weird."

"We are not animals fully. We have our consciousnesses and our own ability to think and act morally or not. Therefore, that differentiates us from being wild animals. So you should have the mind to not try and preen or clean me in front of a friend."

"...Sorry."

"No need to apologize. Just please do not do it again."

"Hey Akaashi?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think I'd be a bad dad?"

"Well. You did let one of Kenma's kittens run away."

"Hey! She said we were gonna play hide and seek and then she just disappeared! I thought she was gonna hide in the den somewhere..!"

"Ah so you were fooled by a baby."

"....Yuh huh."

"Heh... No, I don't think you'd be a bad father. I think you would be quite a good one. At least to your own children."

"Sooooooo. Would you have little owlets with meeeee?"

"Yes. I would."

"Can we when we get home?" I asked, kinda being serious. Akaashi just gave me a sigh as we kept flying towards our destination. After a few hours, we reached the woods where Oikawa lived. We found a branch to rest and shake the snow off our heads. Okay. Now. Where could-

"There they are." Akaashi said, swiveling his head a bit to see a blur of orange. We both silently glided from tree to tree to get closer to it. Woah. We knew what was going on about the more predatory creatures going crazy, but I didn't think that they looked like that.

The orange werewolf had a definite killing look in his eyes and in his posture. His fangs and claws looked bigger than Oikawa's, despite the werewolf looking smaller. Okay, so he was alive.. Now a black haired hunting boy.

"Keep an eye on him. I will look for the boy." Akaashi said as he flew off. I scooted side to side on the branch, watching the werewolf boy who was sniffing around in the snow. He growled, quickly turning his head and staring at me. I'm glad I was a bird type and could stay up here... He looked pretty scary to be on the ground with.

He finally looked away and continued sniffing around, sometimes digging. I wonder what he was doing? I never understood werewolves in the first place. Finally, Akaashi returned and perched next to me.

"I found the other boy."

"Is he dead...?"

"No. He seems quite healthy. Come look." I followed Akaashi for a couple minutes through the dense woods before finding a little home. It looked definitely hand-build out of the trees from here. But I could see inside the frosted windows.

The hunter boy, at least I'm pretty sure that's the one we were looking for, was inside. And there were... good lord there were 6 werewolf kids in there. But luckily all of them seemed well behaved. Akaashi looked at me as I ruffled my feathers.

"I wasn't expecting that... But, I'd rather have surprising news than bad news. C'mon, let's go find Oikawa."
