Part 27: Promise

But then Y/n noticed that Taehyung was about to go somewhere so she quickly held his hand. Taehyung turned around and raised his eyebrows.

Y/n:"W-Where are y-you going?"

Taehyung:"I'm just gonna buy some medicine for you"

Y/n:"N-no need. The nurse h-had already g-gave me medicine. P-please stay h-here"

Taehyung nodded and sat down beside her. He pulled up her blanket and covered her properly.

Taehyung:"Are you feeling cold?"

Y/n nodded.

Taehyung:"Is there any other blanket?"

Y/n shooked her head.

Taehyung:"Then what should I do now?",he said thinking.

Y/n:"Can’t you just hug me like you were doing previously? It was comfortable.", she whispered but Taehyung heard it.

Taehyung:"What did you say just now?"

Y/n became embarrassed being caught by him. Taehyung smirked and came closer to her and leaned in and whispered in her ear,"You want me to hug you again? Am I that comfortable? Hmm?"

Y/n was totally red now. Taehyung pulled away and chuckled. He then laid beside her and got under her blanket. Seeing this her eyes widened.

Y/n:"Wha..W-what are y-you doing?"

Taehyung didn’t answered her, instead he pulled her closer to him and hugged her tightly and again whispered, "I'm doing what you wanted"

Y/n:"Y-you don’t h-have t-"

Taehyung shushed her and said,"Now stop talking and sleep. You will feel better if you get some sleep"

Y/n didn’t fight back anymore instead she put her head on his chest and attempted to sleep. It didn’t take long for her to sleep as she was very weak.

Taehyung was looking at her all the time. He was admiring her face. Taehyung thought,'God she is looking so beautiful. Her forehead is looking so good with her bangs falling on it. Her long eyelashes are looking so pretty from up here'. He began to caresse her face. He again slipped his thumb inside her mask feeling her soft smooth skin. He pressed it lightly and felt it was really soft, just like a baby. Then he put his thumb more further, on her lips. He widened his eyes as he felt how soft and warm her lips was. It was smooth like flower petals. He thought,'Oh my..her lips her so soft. I'm feeling like kissing her now. How will it feel when I will really kiss her?'. But his thoughts got interrupted when Y/n moved alittle and Taehyung immediately pulled his hand back. Y/n didn’t woke up, instead she snuggled more in his chest. Taehyung sighed in relief. But then suddenly the thought of seeing her face came in his mind. He badly wanted to see her entire face but the mask is not letting him. He thought of taking off the mask. He thought, 'Should I remove the mask? I mean she is sleeping so she won't realise it. Should I?'. He put his hand on her mask and was about to pull away but then suddenly the door of Y/n's room opened reaviling her grandma. Taehyung flinched and got up from the bed.

Grandma:"Hey! Who are you?! What are you doing in my granddaughter's room huh?! Who are you tell- Wait, Taehyung? "

Taehyung gave an awkward smile and said,"Hey grandma"

Right now Taehyung is sitting on the kitchen table eating the cake grandma gave him and grandma was cooking lunch.

Grandma:"So Y/n has fever?"

Taehyung nodded.

Grandma:"Aish I knew this girl is hiding something from me."

Taehyung:"She has high fever grandma. She even passed out in school. That's why I brought her home"

Grandma:"Did she ate medicine? She didn’t even eat her breakfast"

Taehyung:"Yeah she did"

Grandma:"So she finally became your friend? "

Taehyung:"Yeah, but she is still bad."

Grandma:"Why? Now she has except your friendship, so why is she bad now?"

Taehyung:"You don’t know what she did at first. She ignored me. How could she ignore a handsome man like me?"

Her grandma laughed a little.

Grandma:"Right. Now the cute boy has become a handsome man. A very handsome man."

Taehyung chuckled.

Grandma:"So what were you doing in bed with her?"

Taehyung became nervous.

Taehyung:"A-ah g-randma she was f-feeling cold, t-that's why I-I umm...."

Grandma:"Taehyung "

Taehyung looked at her.

Grandma:"Do you like my granddaughter? "

Taehyung's eyes widened in this question.

Taehyung:"G-grandma wh-why are a-asking this?"

Grandma:"Just answer my question Taehyung "

Taehyung looked down and said,"I-I do. I-I do like her. No no I-I love h-her"

Her grandma came closer to Taehyung. Taehyung thought she is gonna scold him or hurt him. But instead she patted his head and said in a loving tone,"Take care of my granddaughter. She has missed all the love she deserved from her childhood. So please Taehyung, give all the love she missed till now.", her grandma said tearing up.

Taehyung looked up and said,"I promise you grandma, I will love her till my last breath. I will give her the love she deserves, maybe more than that"

Her grandma smiled and said,"Thank you Taehyung. Now I can die peacefully. I don’t have to worry about her anymore"

Taehyung smiled and was about to say something but got interrupted by...........
