-Denki POV-

I've been searching my room for several hours now. I can't believe that I didn't even notice my missing phone the entire time that I've been back home. (To be honest, it had been a pretty stressful and packed few weeks with mission planning and recon. We'd been checking in all the bug I had placed around UA, and seeing what extra data we could gather. That ment me and my electric quirk had been booked.)

I had used several different disposable phones for  contacting the LOV while undercover, but this one had been my official one, and had all of he texts between me and the League.I just hoped I could find it soon.

"HEY SHIGS," I call  downstairs, "CAN YOU CALL MY PHONE FOR ME? NOT SURE WHERE IT IS."

"'KAY," he cries back.

I wait, listening for my ringtone.

-Deku POV-

I'm walking past Denki's old dorm when I hear a noise from inside the room. It sounds suspiciously like a uncensored version of 'Forget You' with highland bagpipes and the Wii theme song playing in the background. No one has entered Denki's old room since he was arrested, even though it was supposed to be cleaned out.

Curious, I walk over and open the door, checking up and down the hallway first.

The room is just and tacky as I remember it being. Loud patterns, bright colors, and busy decorations blair from every corner, but after the initial shock to the retinas, my eyes adjust and I look around the room. Among the flashy patterns on the shelves are many books we've learned about in literature,  and when I open on of the books on the bottom shelf, I find it to be in its original english. Most of the books on the shelves are either in other languages or very  old writing style that is hard to decipher, even though I enjoy a hard read. All these books are hidden behind the rooms tacky appearance.

Diverting my attention from the bookshelf, I focus on locating the sound. I trace it down to the crevice between the bed and the wall.  The noise turns out to be a ringtone. I recognize the phone as Denki's.

I stare down at the phone. Denki's phone. The Traitor's phone. I hesitate, then check the caller ID.

The Crusty One

I can guess who that is. I should turn this phone in to the heroes right now...but who knows when I'll get another chance to get something-anything- on the LOV. And maybe I can race the call later, (even though I have no clue how to do that.)

I click the 'accept' button.

"Hello?" I ask.

Shigaraki responds."Who is this?"

"I could ask you the same thing," I say trying to avoid the question.

"Denks!" He cries, and I jump, "Some guy found your phone! Or girl, I don't know. ...Or a non binary individual. Which is it?" The last few sentences were directed toward me.

"Uh.." I say, "I'm a boy. Thank you for asking!"

"Yeah," Shigaraki says, "we really need to normalize this kind of conversations, I think."

"I agree with you," I say, surprised to be having a civil conversation with a villain, and agreeing with him. "Some of these societal norms are just appalling."

"Ye- oop, the guy who owns that phone you've got with you wants to say something"

"Okay," I say, sweating nervously.

"Hi," Denki says from the other side of the phone.

"Hey," I say, as I meander out of the room.

"So," he continues, "where'd you find this?"
