Sarah Paulson loves me

Time passed by so quickly while we were busy looking at the night sky which looked like a dark, velvet blanket covered in hundreds of the shiniest stars I've ever seen in my life. It was getting colder and colder as we dived more into the nighttime, so Sarah and I were hugging tighly in order to keep ourselves warm

'Wanna go to my place? I've stayed so many times in yours, I honestly feel bad' I laughed and I looked at her

'Don't feel bad sweetheart, you know that you can come over anytime you want to. I'm glad having you over' I felt kind of relieved to be honest 'But sure, I'd love to see where you live too' she smiled and kissed my cheek

We got up, Sarah grabbed my hand, and together we started walking back to her car. I was so tired that I almost fell down while walking down the slippery hill and Sarah grabbed my hand harder, while we both laughed at how clumsy I was

We got into her car and I couldn't stop smiling over how magical and unreal this night has felt so far; I kept wanting to pinch myself to make sure that I was alive. I closed my eyes and I almost fell asleep but Sarah started shaking my shoulder

'Whaaat' I said to her with my eyes still closed while stifling a yawn

'I need you to tell me the directions to your house, you know? I literally have no idea where you live' I sighed and I turned on my phone. I clicked on the app 'Maps' and I entered my address so that she could watch and listen to the directions herself

'Here. Now pleaaase let me sleep just for this short ride. My eyelids feel like they weigh a ton each' I said while giving my phone to her and I turned on my side, leaning my head on the passenger's window in order  to sleep again

'Fine. Just go to sleep, I think I got this' I didn't answer to her as I could already feel myself drifting into sleep, as the humming of the car's engine sounded like a lullaby to me. After a while, even with my eyes being shut closed, I was blinded by a bright light which forced me to open my eyes. The light came from two headlights, that belonged to a car that was coming towards us and didn't seem to be reducing its speed at all

'SARAH WATCH OUT' I yelled at her but she was too focused on looking for the directions on my phone and didn't even notice how close the other car was

And it was too late.

I opened my eyes again, which I immediately regretted doing so, since it made everything swirl around me, and wondered where I am. It took me a while to connect the pieces, but eventually I remembered what had happened and I panicked. The blinding headlights; me screaming; the crash. I felt something hot and sticky on my forehead and I looked in the side-view mirror. My forehead was covered in blood, trickling almost all the way down to my jaw and even the side of my neck

Sarah. How is Sarah?

I almost jumped in my attempt to turn around to look at her, realizing that she was lying on the steering wheel with blood all over her face too. I screamed and I tried to wake her up but she wouldn't open her eyes. I started crying and hyperventilating, not knowing what to do, how to help. Could I even help? Or was I too late? God, I didn't even want to think about this horrible scenario... Please let her be okay...

I grabbed her wrist hoping that I could still feel her heartbeat. "Thank god" I thought to myself when I finally sensed one, and I kissed her wrist in shock, feeling so glad about something so small, yet so important, that should be never taken for granted. I took my phone from her hand and called 911
