Chapter 2

Mike's POV

"Where am I? Hello? Anyone?"
I was standing in a dark place with nothing in sight.

I kept hearing voices but I don't where it was from. The memories of what happened came. Did I fell down again? Suddenly I heard screamings and crying. What....?

The sound was getting louder, I was scared. I tried to run but it was hopeless. Suddenly, a voice whispered in my ear

"Hey..."

I opened my eye jolting my body from laying down. I was breathing heavily and panicking. What just happened?

As I sat down my vision starts to recover. I was in a room laying on the bed. My bag and other stuffs was laying on the floor next to it. Then I saw a figure entered the room, a big one actually.

"Mike?" That figure called my name

I sat in silence as the figure which is now more clear, a male dragon with red scales and black marks on his arms looked at me in the eyes. His eyes was yellow, a calm bright yellow.

"Snap!" He snapped his finger in front of me making me concious. "Dude... Are you still there? You took a great hit on the head back there"

I hold the back of my head, ouu..... it stings... I winced a little but maybe a bit too loud. I cried a little but then he wiped my tears off. I didn't said anything. I just look at him as he caress me.

"By the way, my name is Volt" he smiled.

Volt's POV

Is he crying? Is the pain too much? Are you okay Mike? I keep those thoughts in mind. He was clearly holding the pain.

"There there..." I wiped his tears off. He didn't say anything. Maybe he was too scared or do I look scary? He looked at me eye to eye. His eyes were bright green, such innocent eyes. He studied me looked around.

I was just wearing pants and a sleeveless shirt. So my body was showing a bit too much, maybe it was too intimidating. I did do some workout these past years to build some muscles.

He then looked away. There was a hint of blushing on his face but clearly it's because I was being lovey dovey.

To not make things awkward, I stood up and go get a glass of water for him to drink and maybe some snacks on the side. He's been out for quite a while. He must be hungry.

Mike's POV

"D-did I just blushed?" I asked myself when I looked away. Bu-b-but  he looks so nice and kind. With those yellow eyes and that muscular scalie body, his arms were big, his- OKAY OKAY enough dirty thinking Mike you can control this.

But did he noticed I was blushing when I looked away? Omg what will he think? Aaaaaa Mike you messed up you don't even know that Volt guy.

Hmm? He stood up and went away? Did I done something? He must've noticed now he's super disgusted by me no no no.....

"I'm back!" He shouted

I startled a lil. He was holding a tray with a glass of water and... and... and are those cheese crackers!!! My eyes glimmered. I love cheese! The sweet and salty taste the umami the cheesiness mmm!!! MIKE Control Yourself

He then put it infront of me. I hesitated at first but then he said,

Eat up Mike! I know you want it, he winked.

I can't control on how much I'm blushing right now. With my face glowing bright red, I hesitately took the glass of water and drank it, He looked at me gladly as I munch on.

"I'm sorry I didn't introduced myself properly that time, the name's Voltan but you could call me Volt for short. This is my last year in this college and I'll be graduating this year."

"If I'm correct you're new here right?"

I nodded

"And you might have missed the welcoming ceremony for the newcomers."

Shit, I just remembered about that.

"Hey don't worry alright, it's a small chit chat with the head professor and all, a stroll around campus nothing too big of a deal."

I looked down at the bed. Why did I mess up so much on my first day here. I was just living live like normal but oh well, life is not what is written in textbooks I guess.

"How about we go find your dorm room after this and I give you a little stroll around the area if you want. So how is it?" he asked.

"T-thank you V-voltan!"

"Don't mention it kiddo, plus, just call me Volt next time"

"O-o-okay Voltan- I MEAN... Volt!"

He laughed but I can only feel embarrased. He's such a sweet guy. I hope I could have someone like him as my mate one day.

After finishing those scrumptious delightful cheesy crackers, I got up and asked him if I can use his bathroom. He had no problem with it. I took a short yet refreshing shower and making sure to not touch the back of my head too hard. It still stings a bunch.

We then got ready and went out of his room.
