Chapter 6

Volt's POV

RINGGGGGG!!!!!

"Finally class is over"

Almost every class I can't focus even a bit. I can't stop thinking about Mike. I hope he is fine though.

I sighed. I gotta pay him a visit after this. I hope he's already awake.

Mike's POV

"And dont worry mom, dad, I'm doing fine other than this incident." I reasassured my parents.

They were still worried about me but somehow they need to get over it. I'm already big enough to live life by my own. Plus I don't want to burden them.

"Dear I'm sorry but I need to go okay. Go watch Mike and give him company. The boss is already calling for me." My dad had to left for work sadly leaving the two of us. Before that he kissed mom and me before exiting the door.

Just a couple of minutes later...
(Doors opened)

"Are you Mr.... Mike Stephenson?" A nurse called my name.

"Y-yes miss, is there anything wrong?"

She then handed me a letter. It was written in quite of a hurry based on the writings. I read it to myself.

Letter:
Mike it's me Volt. If you are reading this I'm very sorry for leaving you back then at the gym. It was stupid of me to leave you alone. I'm sorry... I will be heading there after class okay. Cya

It was a letter from Volt. Oh my Volt it's not your fault Volt..... No.... Don't feel like that...

"Mike?... Are you okay dear?" My mother saw my mood went down a little.

"It's okay mom, nothing really." I sighed.

"Is it a letter from that guy you were talking about? Volt?"
My mom asked.

"Yeah, he thinks it's his fault for leaving me alone in the gym while did some workout. But I know it's not his fault...."

"Oh Mike..." My mom wiped my tears. "You know what, I think you're lucky to have him as a friend" she smiled.

I know my mother was thinking something else. She already knew that I was gay. I confessed to them when I was at highschool. Dad didn't say anything to be honest, he just ignored it. My mom however, she just supports me for whatever I do as long as it good and makes me happy.

Suddenly,

"Hello?" A familiar voice was knocking on the door. "May I come in?" It was clearly Volt.

"Sure! Come in".

Volt's POV

I opened the door. I was expecting to see Mike awake and I was gonna hug him but turned out someone was there with him.

It took me by surprise, the woman looked at me and she smiled. It was quite awkward at first. Soon I introduced myself to her.

"Hey Volt, this is my Mom" Mike said

His mother then stood up and walked towards me. I was just standing there awkwardly and then she gave me a hug.

"Thank you for saving my son." as she hugged me tight.

My heart felt light and warm. Then she released me and asked me to sit down.

I looked at Mike. He looks exhausted but happy at the same time. I was glad that he is fine.

"Hey Volt" Mike called me.

"Don't blame yourself because of this okay? You didn't do anything instead you helped me actually. I just need one more day of rest and I'll be free to go"

I looked at him with a smile. He was so sweet my heart was melting.

"But, you do owe me to continue our stroll" he snickered. His mother was about to smack him but didn't

"Okay okay I will" I replied.

Suddenly his mom's phone rang. She answered it and by the looks of her face. She was not happy.

"But sir I told you I wanted a day off today, my son is in the hospital right now." She was furious

Mike's POV

This might be about work. My mom is often busy with work just like my dad.

My mom worked at a bakery just near our home. She's one of the best bakers in town.

She sighed... "Dear I'm so sorry but I gotta go okay, orders are sky rocketing and they are in need of extra hands".

She kissed me on the forehead.

Volt's POV

Her mom was so caring. Then, she looked at me. I startled a little, then she said "Take good care of my son shall you?"

I nodded. She then left us with a wave of goodbye. Now it's just me and this wolfie.

"So, how you are feeling right now?" I asked

"Traumatized is the best word to describe my situation right now. But hey thanks to you my virginity is saved!"

My jaw dropped. He laughed.

Well I haven't told you right, yes I'm a virgin. And yes I was almost raped. But thanks to you saving me in time, nothing happened to me other than this scratch.

Suddenly he looked down, "I'm sorry for troubling you Volt."

"Hey hey, it's not a big of a deal okay."
I smiled.

We chatted for a while and soon I gotta leave.

I gave him a pet on his head. He blushed real hard. He looked mad but I know he liked it.

With a goodbye I left the hospital and went back to college.
