Chapter 3

We both got out of Volt's room and surprisedly we bumped into his roommate.

Volt's POV

"Yo Volt wacha got there? Did you swept a princess of his feet?" He laughed.

I saw Mike was about to throw a tantrum like every kid will but I stopped him.

"Nah, just met him. His name is Mike and he's one of the newcomers here.
Go greet him Mike, he's Amp one of your seniors here".

Mike and Amp both exchange handshakes and greeted each other. After a little chit chat we part our ways. But before we were out of sight, Amp shouted.

"I think size_difference is the best tag for you guys"

Then he shut the door.

Amp you fu##ing idiot. It was nothing for me but unfortunately Mike did startled a little. I calmed him down and we continued to find his room. His room was located at the end of the corridor and surprisingly the room was for one student only.

Mike's POV

"So... This is my room," I entered the room with Volt as I scanned the room from ceiling to the dusty floor. The room was meant for only one student so that means I will be alone in my room and no roommates. It was what I hoped when I entered college but when it happened, I was a little sad ehek.

As Volt sat on the bed playing with his phone. I organised my stuffs in my new room, plugging in the charger, filling the cabinets with my clothes bla bla bla boring stuffs.

I checked the bathroom just to make sure nothing was wrong or leaking. But seriously the bathroom smelled like rotten potatoes. Okay now some fragrant spray into the shopping list.

After quite a while in there I signaled Volt that I'm done. He was chatting with someone but can really catch a view who it was. But he was very enthusiastic about it.

"Let's Go!" Volt said as I locked the door. We both walked side by side and to be honest, Volt has a fit body buff also while me Miky here just a normal yet thin feminine build HHH.

"So where do you wanna start?" He asked me.

"Well maybe the cafeteria? I wanna take a sneak peek on what they serve!" Hoping fully there are cheese related snacks or something.

"Sure! I was hoping you would say that, gotta get some food before our stroll. Don't want anyone passing out in a middle of a walk" He nudged me with his elbow a lil.

"Heyyyyyyyy!!! That was an accident okay! I'm new here and its normal to panic a little." I grumped.

"A little huh?" He looked at me.

"Fine fine you win!" Clearly it was not a little panic but anxiety had taken control of my body fully HHH.

After walking for quite a bit we arrived at the Cafeteria. It was huge!!! So many people were there eating and chatting and doing much more other stuffs

We walked around glancing to the stalls selling food and drinks. Until I stopped at one specific stall. Volt saw me stopped and looked at my direction

"Corndogs huh?" he read the signboard

I did not care about the hotdog but what I do care is that juicy block of melty cheesy mozzarella cheese inside the fried corndogs. When you bite into it the cheese oozes out mmmmm~~~

Oh I wonder why cheese is so good. The taste the consistency is just voila! I was mesmerized with the beauty of the corndogs served. Those juicy sticks filled with what I called heaven.

"Here!"

I was cut out into reality when Volt handed me a corndog. WAIT... when did he bought it? I was clearly looking at the corndog stall, no way he bought out of my sight!

I looked at him confusedly then he said, "I saw your eyes were glued to the corndogs, I asked you a few times but you completely ignored me so I thought maybe you really wanted those"

Dear God...., AM I DREAMING OR WHAT?!?

I was out of words, Volt you are the best! I gave him tight hug just not too long as people started to notice. We both find an empty table to sit and enjoyed the meal.

As we munch our way into our food, Volt told me in detail what happened after I blacked out. I almost chocked and I was shy as fu##. He insisted that it was not a big deal at all.

"So umm Volt, may I ask something?"

"Well sure! Go on",as he munched the food

"Who were you chatting with on the phone back then in my room?"

"Oh it's just an old friend, he works at a fancy restaurant nearby. It's been a while since we last chatted so it's good to keep things updates once in a while."

"Oooo... Ic..."

"How about you Mike? No friends?" Volt asked me.

"Well I do have some friends but they are always busy. They have family business to get taken care off and most of them works 24/7."

"Naww... So you're just a lonely wolfie entering college~" he laughed.

"Hey it's not like that- oh shut up!"

We chatted a little more as we finish our meals. After that we continued the stroll around the campus.
