A shopping trip to remember [Part 1] - Zia

Btw, this takes place after Drew breaks up with Zoey (if that ever happens in the series)

3rd person pov:

It was Friday. Which meant Lia and Zoey had all weekend to shop and hang out.

Zoey had messaged Lia about a hour ago saying that her sugar daddy, Daniel  was busy today. You see, Daniel had usually gone shopping with Lia and Zoey, so Lia was happy she could spend some quality time with her BFF.

When Lia arived at the Mall she saw Zoey getting out of her Father's car.

"Hey Zoey!" Lia called out.

"Lia! Omg hi gurl!!"

"C'mon we have lots of stuff to go see! I overheard some girls saying that [insert clothing store] has a ton of new outfits!" Lia said excitingly.

"Yay!! Lets go!" Zoey replied.

Zoeys pov:

We walked into [insert clothing store] and Lia was right, there was lots of new  cute clothes!

"These are so cute!!" I said

"I know righ-"

Suddenly, it looked like Lia caught her eyes on somthing.

"Oh. My. Gosh. Zoey! Look at that jacket! It's so adorbs!" She said happily.

"Oooo! Love it! You should totally get it!"

"Do you think it'll be enough to impress Jake?" She asked

"I-"

I have to admit...I am kind of jealous of Jake. I don't really have a reason to, and I don't know when I started feeling this way...I guess it just developed over time.

"Um...Yeah..."

"Whats wrong?" She asked

"O-oh nothing!"

"Okay....Whatever you say.."

Lias pov:

Well that was...weird... I wonder whats going on.. I mean, she just stuttered. Zoey never stutters.

"So, you like Jake, right?" She asked me

Oh no... This was a question I was hoping no one would ever ask.
The truth is...I don't really know if I like him. Since I became friends with Zoey, I didn't want anyone to know that I actually like girls...

So, I decided, I would pick somone in Zoeys friend group to pretend to have a crush on. Since Drew was Zoeys boyfriend at the time, I never really liked Henry, and it was quite obvious Liam liked Henry, I chose Jake.

"Um...well...not...really..."

"Wait- what?" She said

She wasn't judging me at all...In fact, she was quite calm...Weird...

"Um yeah..."

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked

"I um....I-"

All of asoden, a worker kame on the loud speaker and said, "Attention shoppers, we are closing in 5 minutes"

"We should probably go..." I said

"Yeah...you're right."

We then left [insert clothing store], An awkward silenced filled the air.

Zoeys pov:

"Sooo, if you don't like Jake...Who do you like?" I asked

I probably shouldn't have asked that, but I was just curious...I mean there's no harm in telling me, right?

"Do you really want to know?..." she said looking nervous.

"Well yeah, we are besties after all!" I said excited to know.

"Well if you do want to know...I...like girls....."

I was shocked. She liked girls?! Why didn't she say so?!

In a weird way, I was kinda happy. I've a had a small crush on Lia ever since middle school, I just hadn't noticed it until recently.

"Really, why didn't you tell me?"

"I guess I just didn't want you to get mad, or feel weird around me." Lia said

"I- I hope we can still be friends..." She told me.

"O-Of course Lia!" By this point my face was probably redder than a tomato.

Maybe we did have a chance...
