I used my key to unlock the doors leading into the lair hearing the usual recording of the dogs barking rolling my eyes as I walked down the tunnels leaving the bike since it was always faster and made my way down the stairs towards my room straight past my Dad who was as usual snoring on his throne.
"Where you been?" he spoke up right as I passed his throne and paused.
"Stealing" I replied emptying out my score throwing him the blue scarf and he smirked at my haul before I turned heading for my room again.
"What's put you in a mood?" he asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Your goody two shoed daughters back on the Isle and practically ran me over with her stupid little purple bike thing!" I exclaimed feeling the anger burst out of me again.
"Hadley!" Dad exclaimed making my eyes snap to him seeing him giving me a look that told me to calm down.
"She left all of us here to rot Dad, she's done nothing for the island and now she thinks she can come back I mean it's only a matter of time before she's hurt especially after everyone saw what she did to Maleficent at the Kings coronation, she doesn't belong here anymore!"
"Hadley!" he yelled again as I exploded again so I took a deep breath calming myself feeling the heat in my eyes fade meaning they returned to my usual blue from the brilliant yellow which happened whenever either of us got angry being a god thing. "Control yourself" I scoffed.
"You're trying to tell me to control myself when you're the epitome of anger issues"
"Just stay away from Mal" he warned me and I scoffed again.
"Why should I, you know what she did to me"
"Stop acting like a spoilt brat and get over it"
"I'm not a brat!" I yelled growling at him. "I'M A GODDESS!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and knew if magic worked my hair would be an explosion of fire just like Dad's even if we didn't know for sure I'd even inherited all his god powers but I was more Hades than anything and I didn't even know my mother so....
"You wouldn't last two minutes out in the real world"
"Yeah well it's not my fault were stuck on this stupid island in the first place!" I yelled at him and he glared at me. "You ruled an entire world and it's because of your inability to kill a baby that we're stuck here!" I exclaimed knocking stuff off the table next to his throne and this included his precious ember but he caught it before it could hit the ground then marched over to me raising his hand in the air above my face ready to backhand me but I stared back unafraid since it wouldn't be the first time in my life.
"Do you have any idea what would happen if this broke you stupid child!" he asked instead of hitting me and shook my arms but I threw my hands down knocking his hands off me.
"Who cares, were never getting off this island and that thing is about as useless as you are" I turned and stormed out of the cave since Dad and I would end up killing each other at this rate since two fire gods worked up is catastrophic.
When I exited the cave I looked up at the overcast sky and yelled letting every ounce of anger pass through me feeling the heat burning through my eyes before I breathed deeply and turned to close the gates only to jump when I saw Harry leaning against the entrance to the cave, arms crossed over his chest and a smirk on his face.
"What are you doing here Har?" I asked him suddenly embarrassed that he'd seen me explode like that.
"I came to get you" he replied. "What's got yer hair on fire Hothead?"
