"I remember you," I said.
"What?" he asked.
"I remember meeting you and waking up in your flat."
"Alexis that's great," he said pulling me into an awkward hug seeing how we were still in the bed, "Do you remember anything else?"
"I remember a bunch of really loud boys," I said scrunching my nose. Liam chuckled.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," he said.
"Who were those boys?" I asked hoing he would give me an answer. He hesitated and then said,"You have to remember for yourself." I groaned in frustration.
"But seeing you this morning made me remember something. what if emersion is exactly what I need," I said trying to persuade him.
"I'll call doctor Greene later and see what he says," he said. I groaned again. I just want to know who I am. Liam laughed at me and then stood up.
"C'mon let's get something to eat," he said pulling me out of the bed. When we finally made it to the kitchen Liam realized something.
"We don't have any food," he said facepalming himself.
"How do you not have any food?" I asked laughing.
"Wll you usually did the shoping but then...." he stopped abruptly.
"Then what?" I asked trying to get him to continue.
"Nothing. I shouldn't have said anything," he said, before chaning subjects quickly" How about we go out for breakfast?"
"Sure. Where?"I asked.
"The diner around the corner," he said. I looked confused.
"Don't worry you'll love it," he said,"Trust me."
A few minutes later we were dressed and ready to go. Liam was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses. I found this odd seeing how it wasn't that cold out. I looked at him oddly.
"Oh yeah," he said running into the room. He came back out with what looked like my hoodie and a pair of female sunglasses.
"Why do we have to wear that?" I asked curiously.
"You'll see," he said. I looked at him strangely but put on the hoodie and glasses anyways.
As we waled out of the front doors of the building I saw what Liam was talking about. There were pople with cameras waiting. I frowned wondering what they were doing here. They seemed to not pay attention to us as we continued to walk. When we finally made it to the diner and were seated I decided to ask Liam about the men who were obviously paparazi.
"Liam?" I asked. He hummd in acknowledgement.
"Who were those people looking for?" I asked.
"Me," he said as he looked at the menu. I snorted in disbelief.
"What's so funny, eh? They are looking for me and my mates." he said seriously. I laughed a bit.
"What? You don't believe me?" he asked. I shook my head no,"It's okay. You will." I looked at him questioningly. He had a smirk on his face. A waitress came up.
"Oh, hi Liam and Alexis. I haven't seen you two here in a while,"she said.
"Well we've been a bit tied up lately," Liam said.
"I see that," she said glancing at the ring on my hand. I still haven't taken it off and I don't know why.
"So the usual's," she said.
"Of course," Liam said. The waitress took our menu's and walked off. I looked at Liam curiously.
"That's Gloria," he began explaining," She's one of the nicest lady's I know." She seemed kind of familiar if I thought about it.
"C'mon, Alexis you have to put your back into it," Gloria said as I was kneeding dough.
"I'm not as strong as you Gloria," I said laughing.
"I know sweety, but you can do better than that," she chuckled.I smiled from the memory.
"Alexis," Liam said snapping his fingers infront of my face. I shook my head.
"What," I asked.
"You blanked out there for a second," he said.
"Oh, I had a memory," I said. >Liam smiled wider.
"What was this one?" he asked.
"It was just me and Gloria making some dough," I said shrugging. Just then Gloria walked out with our food then walked away. We quickly dug into our food and didn't talk again until our food was gone.
"So what'd you think?" he asked.
"I loved it," I said.
"I told you so," he said. I shook my head. Liam paid for the bill and we left. As we were walking toward the buillding again we had our hoodies up and sunglasses on. I still thought it was kind of silly. When we were just inside the door, Liam asked,"Do you still not believe they're looking for me?" I shook my head. He slipped his hoodie off and took off his glasses. The cameras outside began to flash.
"Liam" the paparazzi said as thy rushed to get to the door. They seemed like a bunch of flies trying to get to honey. Liam chuckled and we walked towards the lift. As the lift took us up to our flat. I looked at Liam in disbelief. We finally made it up to our flat.
"I'm gonna call doctor Greene," he said retreating into the kitchen. I sat on the couch and flipped on the telly. Everything I've learned since yesterday swarmed in my head. I looked down at my hand. The beautiful ring gleamed up at me. It made me so confused. Liam walked into the room with a smile on his face. Such a gorgeous smile. Whoah where'd that come from.
"Dr. Greene thinks it's a great idea," he said. I smiled widely knowing that I'll be getting some answers soon.
