Y/n's POV
"It's not getting away from me this time. Watch and learn ladies, this is how you catch a fish." Sokka said boastfully. I rolled my eyes and continued searching for fish, obviously ignoring this jerk.
When I found one, I used my spear to catch the fish. I succeeded and look at Sokka with a grin on my face. "I believe that is how it's done, right MASTER Sokka?" I teased. He pouted and groan.
"It's just beginner's luck y/n, stop being so cocky. So would you just shhh?!" He said annoyed. Pft. I looked at my back to see how's my other cousin, Katara doing. She bends the fish from the water and levitates it in the air like a bubble. She was moving her hands through the air and no taking her eyes off of it.
"Sokka, y/n, look! I did it!" She exclaimed. I congratulated her, "That's a good practice!" I added.
"Shh! Both of you, you'll gonna scare it away. Hmmm, I can hardly smell it cooking." He whispered. He can't take his eyes off of his fish either. "But she caught one, Sokka! Look!" I called him. But he didn't even take a look. Hmph! He's missing out!
Katara tried to bend the water towards the center of the boat and was about to drop it when Sokka pulled his arm upward holding his spear and popped the water over his head and soaked him wet. The fish was gone as well.
"Hey!"
"Aah!!"
I laughed at Sokka, oh man he really looked pissed.
"Why is it that every time you guys play with magic water, I get soaked?!" He complained. O stopped laughing,
"Ugh, it's not magic it's water bending and it's--" Katara would explain it when Sokka cut her off. She crossed her arms in annoyance.
"Yeah yeah, an ancient art unique to our culture blah blah blah. Look I'm just saying that if I have your powers I keep my weirdness to myself." He said. I furrowed my brows.
"Hey! We're not weird! Psh, you're just jealous 'cause you're a non-bender. Hmph!!" I said.
"Yeah, and you're calling us weird? We're not the ones who make muscles at ourselves every time we see our reflection in the water." Katara claimed.
Suddenly, we felt that our boat bumped into something. "Sokka, look out!" We got into a couple of blocks of ice, he started paddling away from those blocks. Katara and I just tightened our grip on the sides of the boat. We got caught in the currents, heavy ones.
"Watch out!" Katara yelled. Sokka tried to keep us from crashing and I helped him by bending the water.
"Go left, go left!" She yelled again. I tried bending to the left when Sokka tried to paddle to the right. Where's your left? You idiot!!
Because of that, we got in between two large blocks of ice. Luckily, we managed to get out of the boat just before it was crushed.
"You called that left?" Katara said while glaring at him.
"Clearly, you don't like my steering. Well, maybe you should have water bended us out of the ice as y/n does." He said calmly. I just looked at them.
"Oh, so now it's my fault? Well, I'm sorry if I'm not as good as my 12 years old cousin here and that I'm still practicing." She said sarcastically. Oh boy, another fight.
"I knew I should have left you at home! Leave it to the girl who loves to mess things up. " He backfired.
Should I stop them?
