Y/N's POV

"We have to go after that ship, Sokka," Katara said. "Aang saved our tribe. Now we have to save him."

Both Katara and I were still facing the sunset. My mind was clouded with worry and nervousness. Katara finally accepted my suggestion of us getting to the North pole to train. And I can tell as well that she's also worried about Aang.

"Katara, I--"

"Why can't you understand that he's on our side? If we don't help him, no one will. I know you don't like Aang, but we owe him and--"

"Katara!" Sokka called loudly. We turned our heads on him.

"Are you gonna talk all day or are you guys coming with me?" Sokka gestured his hand on a little canoe on his side. Looks like he's been setting up this whole time!

"Oh, Sokka!" Katara ran over to him and hugged him. Sweet.

I walked towards them. "Get in. We'll gonna save your boyfriend."

"He's not my---"

"Whatever" He shrugged.

I chuckled. Typical siblings eh? Guess so.

"What do you three think you're doing?"

We startled when we heard Gran gran's voice and slowly faced her only to see her unimpressed look.

We smile awkwardly and I laughed nervously. We waited for a few seconds just in case she would stop us. Instead, she smiled at us.

She lifted her arms with sleeping bags, "You'll need this. You have a long journey ahead of you."

She walked towards us. "It's been so long since I've had hope, but you brought it back to life, my little waterbender." She looked at me and hugged me, I hugged her back.

"Katara, good luck with your training. Take care my sweet waterbender." She turned to Katara and hugged her as well.

"And you, my brave warrior. Be nice to your sister and cousin." She reminded him.

"Yeah, okay Gran." He smiled and hugged her.

"Aang is the Avatar. He's the world's only chance. You found him for a reason, now your destinies are intertwined with his." She told us.

We took the sleeping bags and placed them on the boat. After so many years, I would go back to see and to travel the world. But the thing is, I'm not with my father anymore.

"There's no way we're going to catch a warship with a canoe." I heard Katara said. She's right.

As if on cue, Aang's bison came with a groan over the hill behind us. "Appa!" Katara and I gasped.

"You two just love taking me out of my comfort zone, don't you?" Sokka whined.

We all got up to Appa and went away. We expected him to fly this time, but he didn't.

Katara who's on Appa's head began to persuade the bison to fly, but he just groans.

"Go. Fly. Soar." Sokka said in a very bored tone.

"Come on, Appa. We need your help. Aang needs your help." I began to persuade too.

"Up. Ascend. Elevate."

"Sokka doesn't believe you can fly. But we do Appa. Come on, don't you want to save Aang?" Katara said while patting her hand onto the bison's head. Appa just groan.
