Votes and Notes

Your adoptive brother and father were dead.

When you got back to headquarters, you turned on the news. On every channel. All Might smiling. Fucking smiling. Over your father's corpse.

All you had done was make him look like a martyr. Of course, heroes now feared the League. But now people were scared. You were sure. Scared of the League. As they should be. At least you had done that.

You all sat around the bar. No one knew what to do. You were a leaderless group. Your morales were low. Kurogiri spoke. "I know times are tough, but Shigaraki and All for One knew what they were getting into when they went and faced All Might." This did not cheer anyone up. "But, the League is their legacy. We need to be strong now. We need a new leader. I propose a vote. Everyone write who you think the new leader should be on this paper." He tore a paper into pieces and handed them out with pens. He gathered the pieces together.

He wrote the results on the board. Everyone was anxious as he tallied the votes.

Kurogiri- IIII

Dabi- III

Izuku- IIIII

Twice- I

(Y/N)-  IIIII

"It looks like we have a tie between (Y/N) and Izuku." Deku looked over at you. "I'm willing to share, if you are." You nodded and smiled, shaking your partner's hand.

"Now hold on just a second." Twice said. "Really? A child leading us? Do you really think that's wise Kurogiri? We all know you would make a better leader." Kurogiri just shrugged. "The votes have it."

"I'm not ok with this!" Twice shouted. Deku, as if in a flash, used his quirk and kicked him into the wall. Twice groaned, and fell unconscious. "Any other objections?" The place was silent. Even Toga said nothing. Dabi looked really annoyed though, almost angry. "Have something you want to say, Dabi?" Deku questioned. "No." He practically growled the word.

Deku was a better leader than Izuku, but Izuku had lots of good ideas. Gradually the League noticed how sometimes he acted like one person, sometimes another. They had to know about their leader, after all. No one mentioned it, but you heard some people whispering about it sometimes.

It had been a few weeks after your family's death. Sure, they were not really your family, but they might as well have been. Everyone had moved on, including you.

You guys had cleared up the room Shigaraki used to live in, and made that the new jail for captives. If you were going to rule the world, you might as well have more than one jail cell, right?

As you were cleaning, you found a sticky note. What was this? There were coordinates on it. You looked it up. Nothing interesting. His secrets would go to the grave with him.

You currently had two captives worth keeping. The others, you let go. Izuku begged you to, so you did.

 Katsuki Bakugou. Quirk: Explosion

Shoto Todoroki. Quirk: Half Cold, Half Hot

Izuku hated Kacchan, but even the death of All Might weighed on him. He did not want to kill anyone else. But he did not want to let the blond go, either.

Shoto was a potential villain. He hated his dad, who was a hero. That's some good leverage. Maybe? You were unsure.

"Hey, check out the TV!" Twice yelled.
