You hate it. Being in (L/N) family. Well, it's not like your parent is abusive or anything but they just slowly break your mentally. And now you have reached your limit.

'I can't take it anymore...' You though.

You go to school with a gloomy face. When you're walking to your class your best friend named Bokuto Koutarou is surprising you by appearing out of knowhere.

"Hey (F/N)! Good morning!" He said.

"Morning Kou..." You said lazily.

"Huh? What's wrong? Did something happen?"

"It's nothing."

"Tell me~ I'm your best friend right?" He whined.

"That's true, but it's kinda personal problem."

"Don't worry about it. I'm not gonna tell anyone!" He said.

You know it. Bokuto indeed won't tell anyone about your secret. But sometimes he spilled it without him knowing and it makes you shake your head.

"Maybe I'll tell you next time." You said

"Promise?"

"I said maybe didn't I?"

"You're so mean... But well! I'll wait until you told me!"

"Stubborn"

"That's just how I am" He said proudly.

"That's not something you can proud of!"

-Time Skip-
After school ended, Bokuto usually asked you to watch him practice so you and him can talk while walking home. You actually don't mind, since you got to see your crush Akaashi Keiji a lot. Even though your mood is not good, you still watch him practice.

-When they're on break-
"(Y/N) now you should tell me your problem!" Bokuto said.

"Who are you? My mom? Perhaps my father?" You said annoyed.

"Bokuto-San, please leave (L/N)-San. She seemed annoyed by you." Akaashi said approaching you two.

"Akaashi what's that supposed to mean?" Bokuto asked.

"I'm sorry for Bokuto-San's behavior, (L/N)-San" He said politely to you.

"Yeah, don't worry, I've get used with him." You said trying to keep your cool.

"You both are meanie!" Bokuto said and leave you both.

You and Akaashi went silence. It's awkward for you but for him, it's not.

Then, since Bokuto is still on his emo mode he leaves you behind and walk home alone.

'The heck is his behavior? He's the one who asked me to stay so we can walk home together, but now he's the one who leaves first just because a simple problem!' You thought annoyed.

"(L/N)-San, don't worry about it. It usually happen right? He'll be okay by tomorrow. If I may, I would like to walk you home." He said as if he could read what's on your mind.

"Eh what? No, you don't have to." You said.

"It's late already. It's not good for a girl to walk home alone. Who knows?"

You think for a second, he's right too. Then you accept his offer and he smiled a little.
When you guys walked to your home, you both talk a lot and get to know each other more now.

'Thanks Bokuto for turning into your emo mode.'

So then, Akaashi noticed about your frown. So he asked what happened just like Bokuto did. You lied but it seems like it doesn't work for Akaashi, he doesn't believe it. So you give up and decided to tell the truth about your condition with your family and such problems.

"Don't worry, it happens a lot in life. Just do your best and be patient. Good things take time, so keep on fighting I believe in you. You're a strong girl and also a positive one and I like that kind of personality of yours." He said smiling.

"Oh, and if you wanna talk about your problems, I'll always be here." He continued.

"Thanks Akaashi, actually if I may, would you mind if I call you with your first name?" You asked.

Akaashi went silence for a moment and you soon realize it was a stupid question. How could you call him by his first name when you and him aren't that close?

"Ah, sorry, I-"

"Yeah, I don't mind. Then if you don't mind I would like to call you by your first name too." He said.

"... Uh, yeah? Okay then." You answered a little confused.

He chuckled a bit seeing your confused expression.

-Time Skip In Front Of Your House-
"Thanks for walking me home Keiji."

"No problem (Y/N)."

You went to your door but soon got pulled back by Akaashi into a hug. His head resting at your neck.

"If you have a problem, please tell me (Y/N). I'll do my best to help you." He said.

You blushed and answered "Okay."
Since that day, you often chatting with him or even talk. And after 4 months, now you and Akaashi are dating.
