You are a childhood friend of Akaashi. You know him well, and he knows you well too. It usually happen that childhood friends will have feelings for each other in the future since they know each other for a long time, and so were you. Little did you know, Akaashi share the same feeling too. But he doesn't have guts to tell the truth.

In highschool, you entered the same school as Akaashi as well. But you guys have a separated class. But it doesn't bother the both of you. When the school ends, Akaashi or you will wait for each other and you usually accompany him to the volleyball practice. Lots of people think you both are dating, but you just said no.

"Waaah, today's tiring isn't it?" You said while walking home with Akaashi. "Indeed." He simply said. You guys didn't say a word after that. It's silence, but not in a awkward way.
You think for awhile, you're gonna move to another perfecture and leave Akaashi. You actually don't want to but it can't be helped. You want to tell Akaashi but you guess it's not a good time. So instead of telling him you remained silence and wait for a perfect time.

"Thanks Keiji! See you tomorrow!" You said while waving at him. "Yes, see ya (Y/N)" He said and leave.
You'll leave the perfecture a week from now. So you decided to tell him at Saturday. A day before you move.

-Time Skip-
"(Y/N) are you ready?" He asked. "Sure! I've waited for this time a long ago. Class is so boring and exhausting!" You said and he chuckled. Then, you both walked home.
After you both reached your home, you are planning to tell him right now.

"Hey Keiji, can you wait for a moment? There's something I need to tell you." You said with a low voice but still enough for him to hear you.

"Sure, what is it?" He answered.

"I actually... Will move tomorrow to another perfecture."

Hearing that, Akaashi's heart shattered. Just why? Why did you leave him?

"But why...? Don't you like living here?" He asked.

"Yes I love living here. But there's something I need to do there."

Akaashi remains silence. And keep his head low. You have a guilty expression on your face.

"Alright then, I understand."
"But I need you to know this. Actually I want to tell you from a long time ago. But I couldn't bring myself to do so.      (Y/N), I actually Love you from a long time ago. Please be my girlfriend. Even though you'll leave soon, I'm sure we'll meet again someday." He said.

As much as you want to tell him that you feel the same way, you couldn't bring yourself to tell and respond him.

"I.. It's okay if you don't feel the same way-"

"Yes. I'll be your girlfriend Keiji. I love you too." You said and tears filling your eyes.

Akaashi pulled you into a tight hug. And you buried your head to his chest.

"Promise me we'll meet again one day." He said softly.

"Sure. I promise."

And you both stand and hugging each other for awhile there.

"I will accompany you to the airport tomorrow."

"Thanks Keiji. Meet me here at 10am."
