"In case I die unexpectedly, here's a message I've prepared,While my life did not flash before my eyes, I instantly thought of my friends and family.
When it comes to unforeseen deaths, it is those left behind who mourn and suffer the most:
"He was so youthful."
"She wasn't prepared."
"It was too soon."
"Not yet!"
Realizing this, I decided there is one thing about death that is in my realm of control —
To tell my loved ones ahead of time that I've truly enjoyed my life, and that I regret nothing. It's alright. Fell, dad, don't mourn for me, focus on finding this killer. Tell my siblings I love them.
I figured that while I have no control over when I die, I can at least create my own emotional advanced directive.
So on the off opportunity that I do die unexpectedly, I want my loved ones to find solace and respite in a message dedicated to them.
I'm at ease, I can rest."
Best regards,
Alana.
