Archie:

Betty and I walk down for breakfast now fully dressed about thirty minutes after getting up. Alice made her amazing buttermilk pancakes. We all sat at the table enjoying breakfast in silence, when Toni finally spoke up.

      "So Andrews, what were you and Betty doing last night?" Why couldn't she have just stayed quiet?

        "Uhhhh...nothing, what do you mean?" Toni raised an eyebrow and I knew she didn't believe me.

         "Don't play dumb Andrews, we could all hear you ."

          "Ummm...well...hehe." This was awkward. Especially saying that Alice was listening to the whole conversation.

          "Were you at least safe?" Alice chimed in.

          "Oh my god, mom!" Betty practically yelled.

           "Well were you?" Everyone had now turned their attention to Betty. She gulped.

           "Why do you care?"

           "Because I'm your mother!" Betty seemed really annoyed. "And I don't want you to have to go through the same thing that I did." Betty put her hand up to stop Alice.

            "Okay mom I get it, I don't need to hear it again."

            "Well then answer the question." Betty sighed.

            "Fine yes we were, okay. Geez!"

             "Good, thank you." We weren't though. Maybe she was on birth control. I'd have to ask her later. The rest of breakfast was pretty uneventful, but that was fine by me. We all walked to school together, because we left our bikes in the parking lot the day before. I walk with Betty.

             "Why did you say that?" I ask Betty.

         "Say what?"

             "You know damn well as I do that we were not safe!" I say raising my voice and putting emphasis on the safe.

              "Shhh..."

               "Nobody here cares. You're mom's just trying to protect you. I mean Veronica just got pregnant! It's very possible you could too!" I grab her hand and squeeze it as I say this." She sighs looking defeated.

               "I know," she pauses before adding "I'm on birth control, okay? We're fine." She squeezes my hand. I sigh a sigh of relief. I love Betty, I really do and I'd love to have a family with her someday, but we're too young to have to worry about that right now. I pull her in from the side for a side hug and give her a kiss on the cheek. She smiles and looks at me. "I love you Archie Andrews." She says giving me another kiss. I smile.

          "I love you, too Betty Cooper." I lean in to give her another small kiss, but suddenly Cheryl stops and starts talking, interrupting "our moment."

           "As much as I'd love to hear more about your sex life," she pauses and Betty and I look at each other and blush a little. "We're at school now and god knows Mr.Honey will find a way for us to get in trouble from that" She points to the end of the parking lot, where Mr.Honey is standing observing everyone mingle. Kinda weird, but whatever. Out of nowhere, Jughead shows up and starts walking towards us.

          "Hey guys." Jughead says as he approaches us.

          "Hey." Everyone responds back. When they get to us, I decide to mess with Jughead. I clear my throat so that it can go a little deeper.
