Amya was teaching Kianna to earthbend in an alley near a Cabbage Corp restaurant. Kiwi was sleeping on a dumpster. "Now, to earthbend you have to think like a rock. You have to stand your ground.". Amya bended a rock from the ground. Kianna attempted to do the same, only to move a small pebble and scared an elephant rat. "That was good for your first try! You just need a wider stance." Kianna erupted a rock that smashed into the building.

"MY CABBAGES!" A man screamed from the hole in his wall. "You hooligans will pay for this!" He dialed a number on his telegram. Kianna grabbed Kiwi and Amya used a rock to shoot them into the sky. Kianna screamed in terror from Amya's impulsive act.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!" Kianna yelled.

"Well, since you picked up Kiwi and we were about to run, I thought it would faster to get home this way." Amya answered. The two girls noticed that they were about to plummet into the ground. They both screamed at the top of their lungs as Kianna stuck her left hand out. Instead of splattering all over the ground they landed in soft sand outside of their house. "Now that's earthbending."

Zuri was leaving the house in her work uniform, a burgundy skirt, a black jacket and a red shirt with Future Industries logo on it.  She had a fire nation hair pin tying her hair in a ponytail. "What are you guys doing in the ground?" She asked?

"Kianna just saved our lives!" Amya said. She and Kianna were pulled out by Zuri. Zuri went to the back and unhooked Luka from a tree. She climbed on her back and rode to the front of their house.

"Do you guys wanna come to my orientation? "

"For Future Industries? I'd love to!" Kianna excitedly said. The three girls rode to a mansion where there was two people standing near the door. The woman was short, had brown hair pulled back into a bun, with a long stylish coat. The man, around nineteen years old, was tall and had fluffy shoulder length black hair. His eyes were golden and his skin was pale.

"Hello. I am Noriko Sato and this is my son Shiro. We are so lucky to have another person on our team at Future Industries. Who are these lovely ladies with you?" Said the woman. Zuri shook Noriko and Shiro's hands and introduced her friends.

"This is Amya, my sister and Kianna, she's the Avatar. " Zuri proudly explained. Noriko had a surprised look on her face.

"Th-the Avatar?! Well, I'll have Shiro show you around the facility and I'll show you two around the house." Amya and Kianna followed the woman into the house. Zuri followed Shiro to the car and got in. He drove her over to Future Industries.

Back at Noriko's mansion she offered the two some turtle duck at her dinner table.

"So, Kianna, what brings you to Republic City?".

"I came here to learn earthbending.".

"Did you hear about this guy, I think his name is Inoa. He can take peoples' bending  away. He's already attacked a fourth of the bending population. If I were a bender I would be terrified." Kianna looked down trying not to show the fear in her eyes. "I heard, once he takes over Republic City, he'll get the benders of the world next."

"I KNOW! When he threated to take my bending, I was so scared. I'm so glad Kianna and my sister were brave enough to rescue me!" Amya blurted out. Brave? I was terrified. Why would she bring this up? She probably wants something from me, I don't think I can do this, I can barely earthbend how could I possibly defeat someone with the power I can't even use. I don't know how to use my Avatar State, I-I've never talked to my past lives!

          "Kianna, are you okay?"

          "Yeah..".

"One of my workers told me that some equalists and Inoa are going to attack one of my warehouses. I was wondering if you could take him down for me. It could save my company from corruption.". Kianna looked up. No. I can't, I'm not ready.

         "I'll do it."
