Chapter 17

At New BTS Hideout

A loud slam on the table was heard inside the meeting room. "Where the hell is he?!" the tall man exhaled frustratingly after hours of waiting for Taehyung.

"He's on his way now, Boss." Suga lowering his head assured the man.

This should be the first meeting of the gang with their Boss, to sum up, their plans for tomorrow's meeting and transaction with EXO.

They considered this as a big transaction that their boss decided to personally attend instead of Suga and the members only.

"Make sure that boy won't mess up tomorrow Suga, you know what will happen.

I'll let you handle the meeting today. Let's see each other at Park's Residences tomorrow." The man walked out of the room leaving Suga and Jhope bowing their heads.

It's already several times Suga saved Taehyung from their Boss, he even begged to spare Taehyung's life and asked to give him another chance after what happened on the Island.

Suga as an older brother took all the responsibility for all his Dongsaengs mistakes, but Jhope and V don't have any idea what punishments Suga accepted each time they messed at their work. He hid it from them.

A few minutes later, Taehyung arrived at the meeting room, welcomed by the frowns and narrow eyes from the elder men. He ignored it and took a seat across them.

"Where have you been?" Suga asked with his deep voice, glaring at him.

Taehyung looked down, "I went to see a friend from the DAY6 gang hyung, they'll also attend the meeting tomorrow." He partly lied.

He didn't meet his friend Dowoon, he just knew they're gonna come to tomorrow's event. He sensed that Suga and Jhope gonna believe him with his reasons. 

But all he has done was following Jeongyeon. He's even aware the agents will be present at the party tomorrow. Yet, he can't inform his colleagues about it.

Jhope gave him a side glance, still a little bit skeptical with Taehyung's behavior nowadays.

"Okay, let's just start." A deep sigh was released by Suga.

A serious discussion took place in the meeting room.

After their meeting, Suga ordered them to dye their hair to fully cover their identity at the event and then left Jhope and Taehyung.

"You're still into that female agent, aren't you?" Jhope interrupted the silence surrounding the room.

"I'm not, all I know now is hate and feelings of revenge." he uttered another lie.

Hence, he wanted to do the opposite. He wanted to get her back and protect her at all costs.

It's been four days since they arrived in Seoul, Taehyung didn't miss a day to see Jeongyeon in hidden. For him, seeing her face is like drinking water after a lifetime in a desert.

The only time Jeongyeon almost caught him was during his first time seeing her after they've been away from each other, he wasn't able to control his self getting close to her that caused him to accidentally bumped into her friend.

And tomorrow is his long-awaited day, he will see her again and he will not waste the chance to get close to her. "I will see you tomorrow, Yeona."
