Dudes, the whole middle school at my school gets the rest of the week for virtual. So elementary and high school has to stay at school. The worst part is that high school and middle school are at the same school, just different floors. I'm lucky I'm not in high school yet. Sorry for the short chapter. I didn't know what to do.
When the students came back from their lunch break, they started to glare at Marinette, who wasn't even looking at them. Her face was still into Damian's chest. Damian's look of concern turned into a glare at the classmates, giving them chills.
Marinette eventually got off of Damian, though she was cold having been used to his warmth. When she looked up, she saw her class staring at her and Ms. Mendelev giving her sorry looks. This was a reason why she was her favorite teacher.
Ms. Mendelev, to stop Marinette from looking uncomfortable, got everyone's attention and started teaching. The four in the back were the only ones who were enjoying the class while the others were waiting for the time to go by.
------------
Damian went with Marinette home. His excuse was to help her with the homework, but it was actually to spend more time with her and to find out why she was sad after she came back from the bathroom.
When they got to her room, the two of them had started doing their homework before doing anything else. Aside from the occasional offer for treats from Marinette's parents, it was actually pretty quiet in the room. They didn't talk, unless it was Marinette asking about a tricky problem and him helping her with it.
When they were done, they just sat in a comfortable silence before someone suggested something.
"Do you want to go on a walk?" Marinette asked Damian. Damian agreed and they were on their way. (Damian made sure she brought a jacket to wear) The two of them missed Marinette's parents cooing about how cute they were when they left.
--------
The walk for the two was a nice way for them to relieve stress. It was a calm one and they kept up a conversation with the other the whole time. Marinette, for one, was glad that Damian forced her to bring a jacket with her. It was actually chilly outside, so the jacket was a very big help to keep her warm.
Marinette had noticed that Damian seemed, for the first time, to be hesitant as to what he was going to ask next.
"Damian. What's on your mind?" Marinette asked him.
"What had made you so upset when you came back from the bathroom?" Damian had asked. Marinette's good mood had soured when he asked that.
"Lila." She said. Damian had understood, knowing that the girl was a gold digging harlot.
When they made it to the hotel, that was when they split parts. (Damian brought his stuff from Marinette's place)
"Bye Angel." Damian waved off as he went into the hotel.
When Marinette was walking back to her place, she picked up her bag to talk to Tikki. "Can we go out early tonight?" Tikki nodded and she looked for a place to transform.
Imagine being able to easily write 5000+ words for fanfiction, but when your teacher asks you to write a minimum of 75 words, you could barely do it. So that's my life. It really sucks.
