Daminette December

Day 21: Darkness

Damian and Marinette came into school on Monday hand in hand. When the people at the school saw them, they were actually pretty shocked. When they saw Marinette talking to the 'new' kid, they saw how relaxed she was. And she looked genuinely happy. How she used to look with them. They knew for a fact that she wasn't just getting with him for any other reason than just to be happy.

When they walked into class, they ignored their classmates. Sabrina, when she saw their hands intertwined, smiled at her two friends. Chloe smirked at them, knowing it was going to happen eventually.

When they sat down, they had finally seen their classmates' reactions. Lila and Alya had a look of actual disbelief on their faces, not expecting those two to get together. Almost everyone else had just stared at them. They were thinking of all the reasons why they knew they were good together. On one hand, the 'new' kid, they still haven't learned his name, had only ever shown positive emotions around Marinette. On the other hand, they had a certain look of love on their faces whenever they looked at each other. Everyone could see it.

Adrien looked possessive of her. No matter how much he had claimed to be in love with Ladybug, there was a small part of him that wanted Marinette. When he had seen Marinette with someone else, Damian, the part that liked Marinette overpowered his feelings for Ladybug. Seeing her with someone else made him want to separate them.

"I knew you were going to get together. The locking you up in the closet plan worked!" Sabrina exclaimed. Chloe laughed at her girlfriend's antics, Marinette smiled, while Damian looked amused.

"'Brina you're not supposed to tell them." Chloe sighed, letting Sabrina lean over onto her.

"Chlo, we already knew." Marinette said. She had wrapped her arms around Damian's torso and leaned herself onto him, letting her head be on his chest. Damian wrapped his arms around her.

Chloe muttered some curses under her breath, not loud enough for anyone, other than Sabrina, to hear.

Mrs. Bustier finally walked into the class, a minute after the bell had already rung.

"Good morning class! For all of this week, we are going to do a project in pairs. The project you're doing must have everything you enjoyed this year and some things you did with your partner that you enjoyed. It is due when you come back from break. We present them when we come back." Mrs. Bustier said out loud.

Everyone knew that whenever they did group projects in her class that they could choose whoever they wanted to.

Chloe and Sabrina automatically paired up, as well as all the other couples in the class. Max and Kim got together, while Alix and Nathaniel got together.

Adrien looked back, wanting to ask Marinette to be his partner. If he could do that, she could think of all the times they had fun together and maybe get together with him and break up with the new kid. But he had seen Marinette ask him something, and he agreed to it. That meant that he was stuck with Lila for the project.

Mrs. Bustier left the classroom after writing down everyone's partner. She ignored that she got into the class ten minutes ago. She dismissed everyone from her classes for the rest of the day, letting them go out and do whatever they wanted in order to get their project done.

Everyone else in their class had gone out with their partner, going to enjoy themselves rather than doing the project. Marinette, Chloe, Sabrina, and Damian, knowing that it was Mrs. Mendelev's free period, asked her if they could do their project in her room, knowing that the class after Bustier's is hers. She agreed, knowing that they wouldn't get into trouble in her class.

Adrien was alone. Lila had finally left him to hang out with Alya and give her whatever scoop she wanted.

He had gone to the bathroom, wanting to let out all of the pent up energy he had. Lila has hanging on him, leaving marks on him. His princess was with someone else that wasn't him, and now he was forced to do a project with Lila.

"True Love, I am Hawkmoth. The girl you love is with someone else who isn't you. I'm giving you the power to make all the girls unconscious until they wake up with a true love's kiss. The only thing I need in return is Ladybug's and the new Chat Noir's miraculous. Do we have a deal?"

"Yes Hawkmoth." Bubbles washed over him.

The only thing Hawkmoth forgot to mention was that when Marinette had woken up from her true love's kiss, his transformation would go away, making his akuma already purified.

Marinette and her friends were enjoying their time with each other, doing the project. They had gotten a lot of progress done.

Suddenly, Sabrina and Marinette vision had started to get dizzy. Black spots started to appear in their vision. Suddenly, the only thing they could see was darkness. The only difference between the two was that Marinette had disappeared somewhere else.

Chloe rushed over to her girlfriend's side, wanting to know what had happened to her.

As if something had answered her question, they heard a commotion outside. Damian and Chloe ran to see what it was, wanting to know if it had anything that had to do with their girlfriends.

Outside, they saw an akumatized Adrien. He was on every screen outside.

"Hello Parisians! Right now you're probably wondering what has happened to most of the ladies wherever you are. Well they are under a sleeping spell. The only way to wake them up is with a true love's kiss." True Love exclaimed.

Chloe was quick to rush to Sabrina's side to kiss her so that she could wake up. Damian just stood there, not knowing what to do. He didn't know where she was.

"Plagg, can you sense where Tikki is?" Damian asked.

Plagg came out and nodded. "Can you lead me in the direction of her? We can probably find Marinette and wake her up so that she can defeat the akuma." Plagg nodded and started to fly off, Damian following him behind.

After going up on the elevator, Damian found Marinette at the highest level at the Eiffel Tower. What he found enraged him.

He had seen the akumatized person going to his Angel, who was laying down in a bed. There was a camera to catch everything that happened to be live streaming to all of Paris.

True Love went down to kiss Marinette. Damian, not wanting that to happen, went over to them. He punched the akuma, making it fall and back up away from her. Neither of them heard the laughter that filled the streets when they saw that.

Damian went to put his hand on her cheek. He leaned and slowly kissed her lips. When he backed up, Marinette had stirred and had finally woken up.

Marinette smiled at him and the two both looked over at the akuma. They saw the bubbles wash over him and the akuma leaving him, purified. Under it was Adrien Agreste.

The two left him there and went down the stairs of the Eiffel Tower. When they were sure no one could see them, the two transformed and went up to the top of it. Ladybug called upon her lucky charm and threw it up, waking up anyone that was still affected by the spell. 

I literally have one more chapter before I'm done updating this for the day. Now I need to wonder what to do for the word 'Ice.'
