Chapter 20

Y/n put the movie in and sat down in between Kou and Azusa. 

Kou was determined to prove his brother wrong and stuck his chin out with pride. 

Azusa tried not to laugh at this behavior and only was barely able to contain his laughter. 

The movie started and the screen was showing a scary scene. 

Kou prevented himself from curling up by Y/n and instead just fiddled with his fingers out of nervousness. 

Azusa was keeping an eye on him from the corner of his eye as he mainly kept his eyes on the screen. 

A jump-scare happened and Kou held in a scream since he didn't want to be embarrassed in front of his crush or his brother. 

Y/n seemed to be unaware of the blond's struggle and was very into the movie since she hadn't seen it in so long. 

"You doing alright there, Kou?" Azusa asked with a small smirk. 

"Y-Yep! Never better!" Kou answered quickly. 

There was then a flash of light and a jump-scare on the screen once again and Kou nearly flinched but he didn't. He was almost thinking of when he was underground... since he had to do something similar at that time. He pulled his knees to his chest and leaned on Y/n for comfort. 

Y/n only smiled and patted his shoulder reassuringly. 

Azusa then began to notice that something was wrong with his brother, he kept and eye on him still... he was getting a bit worried...

Kou had fallen asleep clinging to Y/n. 

Azusa shook his head and helped Y/n get Kou to his own room. "You can stay in one of our rooms or a guest room if you'd like." 

"I think that I'll go to the guest room if that is alright." Y/n requested. 

"Of course, it is just right across the hall, I'm two doors down if you need anything and Kou's room is just right there." Azusa instructed. 

"Alright, thanks!" Y/n smiled and she hugged Azusa tightly. "Goodnight." 

"Night, sweet dreams." Azusa gives a soft smile and opens her door for her and then closes it. 

Y/n saw a nightgown and it was a lacy f/c gown that reached barely past her knees. She was also given a pair of thigh high o/f/c (other favorite color) socks. She went into the bathroom and changed and went to the beautiful king sized bed in the room and plopped onto it. 

She sighed in relief and pulled the silk covers back and got into bed and yawned. She then began to drift off to sleep after a little while. 

After about an hour, she woke up to hearing a noise coming from another room. She rubbed her eyes groggily and sat up. When she listened again, she realized it sounded like crying. She got up and went to the door and opened it and heard it coming front when room across from hers... Kou's room. 

She hesitantly approached the door and twisted the doorknob quietly and peaked in. 

Kou was curled up on his bed and sobbing as his eye was glowing a light red, but this detail went unnoticed by Y/n. 

"K-Kou? What's wrong?" She went in the room and cautiously walked up to the male. 

"P-please, d-don't hurt me!" Kou whispered. 

"I would never hurt you, it's okay. Nothing bad has happened, whatever it is I'm sure you can tell me...! Or I can go get Azusa." Y/n offered. 

"N-no! J-just please don't leave me..." Kou grabbed her hand and was clinging to it almost as if he would die if he let go. 

"Oh, Kou. What happened? Did you have a nightmare?" Y/n asked as she sat on the bed beside him and patted his back. 

"I-I... I don't want to t-talk about it..." Kou had small tears streaming down his face as he kept his face. 

"Then what can I do?" Y/n asked. 

"J-just please don't leave me alone." Kou begged. 

Y/n sighed and knew that she couldn't just leave him like this and nodded, she laid down beside him and engulfed him in a hug. 

Kou clings to her desperately almost like a child would to his mother. 

Y/n fiddled with Kou's soft blond hair and ran her fingers through the tresses gently. 

Kou finally relaxed after a little while and started to breathe normally. 

"Are you feeling better?" Y/n asked. 

"Y-yes, thank you for helping me..." Kou states honestly. 

"Of course, do you want me to stay in here with you for tonight?" Y/n asked. 

"I-if you don't mind?" Kou admitted hopefully. 

"Sure, I'll stay." She nodded and closed her eyes. 

"G-goodnight, Y/n." 

"Goodnight, Kou."
