Chapter 23

Again, I am so so sorry for not posting sooner, I have just been so caught up in school and exams and among other things. Anyways, here the next chapter!

Y/n was on her way to her class and noticed that in her cooking class, there was a very familiar looking bag that belonged to her Violet-eyed friend and had his signature symbol on it. She looked over to it, curiously.

"Just gonna look at my bag, Y/n?" Togo laughed softly from a few feet away as he crossed his arms.

"Togo! You didn't tell me you were coming to this class too!" Y/n gasped happily.

"I decided to make it a surprise." Togo grinned.

Another person seemingly appeared behind Togo and hugged him protectively.

"Oh, hey Kanato-kun." Y/n greeted kindly.

Kanato just gave her a blank stare before hugging Togo closer almost as if he was Teddy.

"Hey, Kanato? Could you please let go of me?" Togo laughed nervously.

Kanato hummed and then after a few moments he let go.

Y/n seemed a bit surprised at the purple haired boy's attachment to her friend. "What's up with that?" She whispered.

"I honestly don't know anymore. He's been very clingy." Togo whispered back.

"I c a n hear you." Kanato grumbled as he hugged Teddy.

"Sorry, Kanato-kun!" Togo apologized.

Yui then entered the room and smiled happily at the fact that there were now two celebrities in the room. "Hello, Y/n-Chan and Togo-kun!" She grins.

"Hello, Yui-Chan." Togo nodded.

Y/n sat down at her desk and laid her head down until she drifted off into her own thoughts. She was startled by a hand slamming against her desk right next to her ear. Her head jolted up to see the albino vampire.

"Get up." Subaru spat.

"Why should I listen to you?" Y/n retorted sassily.

"Class is almost over, dumbass." Subaru snapped.

Y/n then stood up and grabbed her things and Subaru grabbed her wrist. "Would you mind letting go of me please?"

Subaru didn't respond and just dragged her towards the stairs.

"Y/n-Chan!" Kou called.

Y/n looked over at the blond as she jerked her hand out of Subaru's grip.

"What was baby Sakamaki doing?" Kou asked in an almost teasing tone.

"None of your damn business, half-breed." Subaru retorted.

"Aww! I think I just realized something! Baby Sakamaki is in love with Y/n-Chan!" Kou giggled as a crowd began to form at the base of the stairs.

Y/n looked at Subaru for confirmation of this observation.

Subaru grit his teeth as he glared at Kou. "Leave me the hell alone you wannabe bottle blond."

Kou raised an eyebrow, "at least I don't look like an Emo disaster that just bleached my hair." He laughed.

"That's not very necessary..." Y/n mumbled since this whole exchange seemed petty.

Subaru was about to punch Kou before someone grabbed his fist, "Any friend of Y/n is a friend of mine, and nobody hurts my friends." Togo hissed.

Subaru kicked Togo in the shin and then kneed him in the chest.

Togo coughed and stumbled back before spitting blood on the floor and taking off his scarf and adjusting his glasses. "Just leave us alone."

"I still have unfinished business with the bottle blond." Subaru cracked his knuckles.

Togo stood in front of him.

"Both of you, stop!" Y/n ordered.

Subaru looked over at her as he grit his teeth and clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"Is this really worth fighting over?" Y/n sighed.

Subaru then suddenly was about to strike Togo on the chest again.

Someone kicked in Subaru's ankle and tripped him, "Togo, are you alright?" Kanato quickly went to inspect Togo's body.

Togo quickly put his scarf back on, "I'm fine."

"Liar, I can smell the blood." Kanato furrowed his eyebrows. "I'll take you to the nurse." He decided.

Y/n was on the rooftop with Kou and asking him a few questions. "What's with the tensions between you and Subaru?"

"He's just being very rude to you and petty." Kou crossed his arms.

"You were being petty too." Y/n rolled her eyes.

"Me?! Petty?! Never!" Kou faked a gasp and acted hurt.

"That whole thing could have been avoided." Y/n shook her head.

"I don't think so." Kou scooted closer to Y/n.

"And why's that?" Y/n looked at him.

"Because it is important for you to be safe." Kou smiled as he leaned down close to her face.

Y/n blushed softly and was about to look away but Kou hooked a finger under her chin to lift her chin up to meet his gaze.

"You're cute." Kou complimented.

"Th-thanks?" Y/n tilted her head.

Kou then light kissed her cheek before jumping up, "See you later, Y/n-Chan!" He giggled before he took off and the bell rang.

"What the actual fuck...?" Y/n was frozen in place as her face heated up. She was questioning everything in her life at that moment. She got up and slowly walked to class and didn't really care that she was late since he mind was racing a million miles a second and was still processing what had just happened.

"Y- n? Y-/-n! Y/N L/N!" The teacher had to yell to snap her out of her thoughts.

"Ah! Sorry Sensei!" Y/n jumped.

"I called your name about five times." The teacher crossed her arms.

"But-"

"Detention." The teacher declared.

Y/n groaned and quietly banged her head against the desk.

After class she had to stay after to do her detention.

"Give me your things." The teacher gestured.

"What?" Y/n looked at her.

"Give me your bag." The teacher rephrased it.

"Why?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.

"You don't need it right now. And give me your phone." The teacher ordered.

"You have no reason to do that!" Y/n stood up.

"Just give me it." The teacher then forcefully took the items back to her desk, "and sit down."

Y/n rolled her eyes as she sat down, this was going to be a long day.
