"This may as well be your fault" I growl "she left because of you. She didn't want this life; you were going to force it on her"
"It's not my fault. Why wasn't anyone home to stop her?" Asher yelled at me
"I had work and so did Ryder. You were off doing god knows what"
Asher has just gotten back, and it has been about a week since she left. I was just now able to tell him she had left since he did not seem to have a phone in him or even been in the town. He started yelling and trashing everything promoting Ryder and a few other gang members to enter the room. We were back at the main gang house in town
"Asher. Calm down man" Ryder grabbed his shoulder and Asher turned around and shoved him
"Don't touch me or tell me to calm down. My kid is gone along with the love of my life" I stared at him shocked, he considered her the love of his life
"Will find her Asher, I promise"
"Honestly" Asher chuckled darkly "Why even try? She did not want anything to do with me in the beginning, she refuses to tell Hazel that I am her dad" I pointed to himself before throwing his hands around "She is run away from me and if I know her, in which I think I do. She will never come back, never. So let me ask you, what's the point?" With that he stormed out of the office and to god knows where
"I need air" I say taking off. If he will not find her, I will
She is still my best friend and I want to make sure she is ok. I do not care how long it takes.

Tessa Winters
"Mamas are you ok?" Hazel asked me as I lay my head on the gross toilet seat
"I don't know sweetheart" I look at her
It had been a few weeks since I left. Then not even two days ago I started getting sick in the mornings, like sick. I have a real bad feeling about why I am sick, but I am keeping that in the back of my mind.
"What do I do? Want some chicken soup?" She asked scarily
"I'll make it baby. Don't worry, I'll be ok" I ran my hand through her hair
I flushed the toilet and cleaned myself before moving towards the microwave where I pop in some water and heat it for two minutes. I stopped when I heard a knock at the door.
"Hazel go hide in the bathroom" I whisper and head for the door. I look out the peep hole and sigh "Hello Sierra" I smile weakly at the hotel owner
"Oh, dear you look terrible" she said as I let her in "Are you ok?" She sounded and looked so concerned
"I'm really sick. I'm hoping it's not the sickness I think I have" I shake my head
"Dear are you implying you might be..." she paused "pregnant?" I nod and she gasped
"I really hope I'm not" I sit on the bed and Hazel peeks out of the bathroom "Come here baby" I open my arms and she come running to me
"Why not dear?" She sat next to me
"I can't afford another person. You know I'm running from someone" I had tears threatening to fall
Sierra has been a great help the last few weeks, she had helped me find a job and looked after Hazel for me while I was gone. So, I told her part of my story, that I was on the run from my ex, Hazel's father
"Tessa dear, do you know who the father would be?" She wrapped her arm around me, and I laid my head on her shoulder
"The same man I feel in love with, the one I'm running from. Her father" Hazel had gotten up to play with the toy car that Sierra had given her
"I'm so sorry. Would you like me to get you a pregnancy test? And if you are having a kid, I'll help you anyway I can" she hugged me tight
"You don't have to" I began to cry at the thought of me being pregnant
"Dear I care for you as I would my own child. I was once in your shoes, running from an ex" she kissed the top of my head "Are you going to tell me who he really is?"
"Maybe one day in the future"
She did not push, and she soon left to get Hazel and I some stuff while I laid in bed with Hazel. I kissed her head before I fell asleep, a nightmare filled sleep of another kid
