Chapter 6 - Crushes

Harry was halfway done with his slice of pie, when Aria, Gemma and Lila burst through the door. Harry immediately shoved his wand under his bed, causing my heart to beat 100x per second. I hope Aria and Lila didn't see it.. If they did, hopefully they thought it was a pencil or a stick.
"Hey! Do you guys wanna come to the park?" Lila asked cheerfully.
"Um, sure. How about you?" I glanced at Harry, who seemed to hesitate.
"Nah, you guys go, I'm not in the mood to go to the park." I nodded and got up from his bed.
"Well.." I look down at my feet and then back at him. "I'll see ya later, then!" The girls led me down the stairs and out the door. On the way to the park, Lila decided to bring up boys! Yay! She began talking about how she had a crush on this kid named Max. My thoughts began drifting away, toward the blond boy, who Harry said was named Draco Malfoy. I remembered that had been really rude and had a cold stare, but when I looked deep into his eyes, they told a completely different story. My thoughts ran out of my head as Lila elbowed me in the rib.
"Do you fancy anyone?" She asked me curiously. I thought for a second. Did I fancy Draco? I couldn't possibly... I was with him for less then a minute, and in that time, he called me filthy! But.. His eyes.. omg his face! Wow. Suddenly, soft wind blew in my face as Lila waved her hand at it.
"Hello??"
"Oh ummm. Not right now..." I said, staring at my feet.
"You're lying!! You usually look down when you lie!!" Aria said.
"What are you even talking about? I always look down!" I argued. Somehow, Lila ended up winning the argument and I was forced to tell her about my crush.
"Well, I met him today and I talked to him for about a minute. His name was Draco and he was really cute." Gemma gasped, as she had already known who Draco was. She grabbed my arm and pulled me aside.
"Draco?! As in Draco Malfoy?!" She whisper/shouted.
"Yes..." I said nervously.
"Are you kidding? That kid is always messing around and bullying people! Neville always sends me owls, talking about new curses that Malfoy has used on him!" Her voice began getting louder, causing me to shush her.
"I know, I know. Harry already told me all of this.." I whispered.
"Just please. Both Neville and Harry say that kid is bad news, and I think that you should listen to them. Please, don't get involved with him." With that, Gemma stomped back toward the girls, leaving me to ponder.
