What everyone knows is that after Sam was born, his older brother stood next to the crib and just stared at the new creation with his big, blue eyes- those blue eyes everyone fell in love with, and the blue eyes that were the only difference in the appearances of Austin and Sam. When Sam got bigger, of course.
What I know is that in those long moments when little Austin was staring at his new brother, he didn't know what was happening, or what it meant. But he knew he was going to protect this fragile baby, no matter what. Because that was his job as a big brother.
