What everyone knows is that Sam loved the sea. From his first trip to the beach, the water immediately made him love the cerulean blue expanse as much as space. He screamed and laughed as he ran through the waves, feeling the sand under his feet. That day, Austin bought him a necklace. It was a simple necklace, a string with a small black shark tooth.
What I know is that Sam wore that necklace for years and years and years, and never took it off. Sometimes, when he missed the sea, he would look his brother right in those blue eyes. Then Sam would imagine he was there, at the water, again.
