Sam had never been more excited in his life, he was finally allowed to go for a sleepover at Blaine's house. He had his bag packed, and they left to go to his house. It was Saturday afternoon in mid December, so it was already starting to get dark. Sam arrived at Blaine's house, he had been there before but he had never stayed over. He said hi to his mom, and she told him Blaine was upstairs waiting for him. He thanked her and went upstairs to find Blaine sitting watching Harry Potter.
Sam set his bag down on the floor, and joined Blaine in watching the movie , as he sat beside him on the bed.
They were sitting what would feel like abnormally close to anyone else, but to them it felt normal, mostly normal, If normal meant your breath hitched in your throat the odd time when the other would talk ,then yeah, it was normal.
The movie was nearing a close and it was darker again outside, but the scenery was so beautiful.
"Do you wanna go for a walk or something?"
Sam felt like Blaine had read his mind.
"Yeah let's go."
They grabbed coats, said bye to Blaine's mom, and went on their way.
They had found a backroad that wouldn't look out of place on a christmas card, and took a walk down there.
They had friendly conversation, until Sam asked a question forgotten by the years.
"Remember when Rachel kissed you in elementary school?"
"Oh God, Yeah I do, I also remember you telling me I didn't have to like it. What did you mean?"
"I meant like you don't have to actually like girls that much, or at all really."
"Huh? Thats a thing? Do you not like girls?"
"No I do, but my mom told me that some dudes like other dudes and some like dudes and chicks, same for girls."
"Huh, that's interesting, I didn't know that was a thing."
"Yeah, if you like dudes and your a dude then your gay, but I don't know what you are if you like both, she never told me." Said Sam,"Anyways, do you think you're gay?"
Blaine looked at the floor puzzled," I don't know, I've never even kissed a guy before and the only other kiss I've had is with Rachel Berry, I don't know."
"Dude if you want you can kiss me to help you figure it out."
Blaines heart almost came out of his mouth.
"What? Are you sure? I mean I appreciate it but are you really sure you want to do that?"
"Yeah it's no biggy, plus I'll be helping you so its a good thing."
"If your sure, Thank you for wanting to help."
"No problem."
Sam put his hand on the crook of Blaine's neck, making his heart skip a beat. Then, slowly but surely, their lips touched, only for a few seconds, but that was more than enough for the both of them. They felt that the butterflies would come erupting out of their mouths if they stayed like this. Sam pulled away, hiding his enjoyment.
"So?"
"It was definitely better than Rachel's," Blaine said as an understatement," but I'm still a bit confused, thank you so much anyways."
"No worries, anyway, we should probably be heading back soon."
"Yeah we should, its getting really dark."
They turned to walk back to Blaine's house.
"What movie do you wanna watch?"
"Star wars?"
"Yeah, great idea Sam!"
They arrived back home and started watching Star wars.
It was quite late, and Blaine's mom, Pam, came up the stairs to tell the boys to go to sleep, but when she opened the door, she thought she might start to tear up.
The boys were fast asleep, but their faces were as close as they could be without touching, their legs intertwined and one of Sam's hands was on Blaine's hip, the other was beside Blaine's own hand.
Pam had never seen anything more adorable in her life. She turned off the TV and the lights, and shut the door quietly.
