I was walking through the hallway. A week has already passed but I still can’t forget that night on the prom. I busied myself with academics even extracurricular. From inside the school to outside the school activities. I know I should’ve felt that but the part na pinaasa niya ako tapos may pa ganon pala siyang surprise.

“Good morning, Savi!” My friends are also there to support me emotionally and physically. Their efforts to help me forget that day are endless. After school, they would take me to the mall and we would buy clothes, eat out of this world foods, buy books and also watch movies.

The students are also shooting me this curious look at me. Some even pitied me but I don’t care about it.
My parents didn’t know about any of this. When I went home, I just lied to them and told them that the prom was a blast.

“Savi, saan tayo after school?” I went through my schedule on my phone.

“Sorry girls, I have dance class after school hanggang five tapos singing lesson hanggang seven” I told them and they nodded. They knew I was also pushing myself to forget that.
The class went okay for half the day. We then headed to the cafeteria to eat our lunch.

“Girls, I have seen this new book na binebenta” Kriesha announced.

“Ano yan, Kriesh?” untag ni Diarra. Kriesha went through her phone and showed us a picture.

“Totoo?!” We uttered in chorus.

“Yeps. Possesive Series Book 15: Phoenix Martinez and Possesive Series Book 16: Titus Morgan! Plus, there’s a tender loving crate” She answered.

“Paano pa mag-order tsaka saan?” tanong ni Gabby. Ngumiti naman ng malapad si Kriesha.

“Don’t worry kasi nag-order na ako para sa atin” We giggled. Favorite naman iyon eh lalo na kasi it’s an addition to our collection of Wattpad books.

After naming kumain, we then dressed into our P.E attire.
Pumunta na kami sa field kasi maglalaro daw kami ng basketball. Marami ang nagreklamo.

“Coach naman kasi, it’s for boys lang” -Sherilah.

“Baka we’ll get muscles like them” –Dianne

“Mapapawis kami ng sobra, coach. Like ewww” –Imaena

Wala naman akong problema kasi tinuruan ako ng mga pinsan kong lalaki. Tapos naglalaro din kami tuwing weekends. Marunong naman konti sila Diarra kaya walang problema.

Naging okay ang P.E class namin. Last class of the afternoon ang Creative writing. May one-hour break pa kami kaya pumunta muna kami ni cafeteria para magmeryenda. Medyo nagutom kami doon sa P.E.

“Ang saya pala maglaro ng basketball ‘no? Magpapaturo na ako sa’yo, Sav” Natawa kami sa sinabi ni Kriesha.

Punung-puno pa ng pagkain ang bibig tapos nagsasalita.
Maya-maya pa’y inilabas ni Diarra ang cellphone niya. May kinalikot siya doon tsaka iniharap sa amin.

“I found this on tiktok tapos ang sabi, ‘This are the PS men with their wives” Kinikilig pa niyang saad.

We laughed at how mature the content was. Pinaulit-ulit pa iyon ni Diarra hanggang sa may humablot sa buhok ko.

“S-Sera?” Galit na galit ang Sera na nasa aking harapan but it didn’t change the fact that she still looks and angel to everyone. The whole attention was on us.

“Ang lakas talaga ng loob mo ‘no?”

“A-Ano bang ibig mong sabihin?” Fear is slowly rising on my whole being.

“Ang kapal talaga ng mukha mo para landiin ang boyfriend ko dahil hindi na ako sa highschool campus!”

“Hindi ko alam ang sinasabi ko, Sera. Hindi ko naman nilalandi si Chase” Of course, it was true. Kahit ni isang beses, hindi ko nilandi si Chase. Iniiwasan ko siya.
Sinampal niya ako.

“Sera, tama na iyan” awat ni Kriesha.

“Tumahimik ka nga!” Lumapit siya sa mesa naming at kinuha ang isang platong spaghetti at isang basong juice saka ibinuhos sa akin. Hindi pa siya nakuntento at sinabunutan pa ako.

“Tama na ‘yan, Sera” awat ng mga kaibigan ko pero hindi nakinig si Sera. I had a second to push her away from me, so I did. Nakaupo na siya ngayon sa sahig but Chase came after her.

“Anong nangyayari dito?!” galit pa niyang tanong. Umiyak si Sera at tinuro ako.

“I just wanted to talk to her pero sinampal niya ako, sinabunutan tsaka tinulak” Gumawi ang tingin sa akin ni Chase. Makikita ang galit sa mga mata niya.

“Masaya ka na ba, Savannah?! Nasaktan mo na si Sera. Napakasama mo talagang tao. “

“C-Chase, wala naman akong ginawang ga-“

“Tumahimik ka na?! Ayaw ko nang makita ang pagmumukha mo” Inalalayan niya si Sera tsaka sila lumisan sa cafeteria.
