Gavril and lords of his court had made it a point to piss off Nixya. Since they were children they had found joy in anerging the short female.

However as they got older, and she got wiser they had to find more elaborate ways to do so.

"If she finds out it was us who broke these she'll kill us and take out your tongues," Umbranos spoke as they made their way into Nixya's room in the palace to steal her beloved paint brushes.

"I'll do worse, I'll shove my foot so far but your as-"

The boys shrieked, well Ceraeus and Umbranos did.

Gavril had been able to feel her presence in the room the second she swiftly entered a few moments after the boys had sneaked in.

Gavril had always been hard to scare and or startle, always knowing when someone was lurking behind door frames and in the shadows of corridors.

"One day, you heartless prick I will scare you too," Nixya spoke pointing a finger to Gavril who remained unphased.

As if a switch had been set, he began to feel the pull.

A muted voice calling him.

"What did you do?" He snapped to her as he began to feel more and more overwhelmed with the feeling that he was not supposed to be where he was standing in front of his court.

"Gav? Are you alright?" Umbranos was the first to notice the look of fear dripping from his face.

Come find me, he heard from everywhere and nowhere.

By the look on his friends' faces he knew they had not heard the voice.

I am waiting for you, my prince.

The voice, sounding of an old hag was calling him,and Gavril knew he didn't have a choice, he needed to find what was calling to him

Gavril said nothing to his childhood friends as he walked out of the Lady's quarters.

That's it, the young prince follow my call, she called to him.

"Get out of my head," he seethed as he made his way to the closest exit of the palace, no doubt gaining weird looks from people he passed.

Not that he cared.

He realized that he did not have a choice, he was subconsciously going to the beacon . He walked to the stables and found his horse.

He rode off the palace grounds leaving his home without a second thought, or a second glance..

He followed the pull to one of Austraya's ruined temples.

After she took away their magic, the people all over Norian began to destroy her temples and shrines. No longer having respect for the goddess who took power away from them.

Welcome, Gavril.

The voice spoke as he got off his horse and to what appeared to be an entrance to the ruins.

"Austraya?" He called out, assuming it was the forgotten goddess who had called him.

No dear, but I am quite similar to her.

"Who are you? Why did you call me" He spoke into the room littered with broken pieces of the shirine and burnt particles.

Not who, I am a what.
