Jeongguk woke up in a good mood. He hurriedly started waking up his owners by nuzzling his nose on their necks and cheeks, a gesture the owners has gotten used to. Jeongguk loved to scent his owners. He was very protective of his 'pack' so of course this was his favorite part of the day. His two most favorite people on earth started to slowly wake up. They groggily opened their eyes and got met with a pair of big, brown doe eyes staring at them. Jeongguk smiled happily at them, his tail wagging from side to side in delight, seeing his lovely humans wake up. His ears twitched in happiness as he jumped at them to nuzzle their necks one more time. Both owners giggled at the hybrid and by the ticklish feeling and petted his hair, making the bunny purr and lean into their touch. They both cooed at their now big bunny hybrid and got up. Jeongguk quickly ran downstairs and outside to grab the newspaper and milk bottles that stood outside the door on their porch. He skipped inside again and carefully placed down the milk on the counter and put the newspaper down onto the dining table. He had prepared delicious breakfast for his owners and was excited to show them.
He poured up some milk in their glasses and set the rest of it in the fridge. He then heard footsteps coming from the stairs and he quickly ran over to the bottom of the stairs, seeing his owners now fully dressed in beautiful clothes, waiting patiently for his morning pet and praises. Out of habit, both owners reached out their hands and petted his hair and ears, making Jeongguk purr. They both pecked his cheek and sat down at the table.
"Whoa, Ggukie this is amazing! Thank you so much, bun!" His female owner, who Jeongguk knew as 'darling' said in a cheerful voice. In response, the hybrid twitched his ears happily and smiled his usual bunny smile.
"Yeah, thank you so much, Jeonggukie. You really didn't have to. You're too good to be true." Jeongguk's male owner, who he knew as 'honey' said with a gentle smile. To be honest, Jeongguk doesn't understand a single thing his owners said to him but judging by the tone and facial expression, they thanked him. And that made jeongguk a very happy bunny.
When they finished eating, his owners pulled out a box and showed it to Jeongguk. The hybrid got very confused and tilted his head, cutely. The couple seemed to understand that he didn't know what they meant, so they decided to just open the box. When they lifted off the lid, a shiny thing came in sight. To Jeongguk it looked like a purple, thick circle with a coin attached to it. He didn't really see what was so special about it but when he saw his owners proud and happy faces he guessed it was really special after all. He slowly got excited to know what it was and his tail started wagging. The couple chuckled and cooed at him.
"Here you go, bun. Ah, you've become such a big boy. Already 6 months old? Which makes you...," Jeongguk's female owner looked off into the distance and tapped her chin lightly. "10 hybrid years! Wow, you've grown up so well!" She pecked Jeongguk's cheek with a smile. "Anyways, you're now officially a part of our family! Jeon Jeongguk. The name suits him well, don't you think, honey?"
