You wake up at 8:00am. This is weird, you never sleep in, that is in less you kept yourself up all night watching Marvel. You yawn, then immediately remember your dream. Or was it a dream? Your absolutely sure that it was a dream.
You pull yourself out of bed and slide your slippers on. Instead of your thin robe you throw on a dark green fuzzy robe. You yawn and then walk around your bed, opening the door. You peek out.
All the lights are off. Just like they are every night, you think. You close your bedroom door behind you with a sigh. "I wish I didn't end the dream," you mutter under your breath. You turn around, and stop. Wait. Where was Malissa?
Your eyebrows furrow and you gaze at the Guest Room door. "No, no," you say firmly. "She probably just went for a walk out the cat door."
You smile to yourself and walk down the hall, but a voice stops you.
"My does green suit you Miss (L/N)."
Your eyes widen and you choke on air. You slowly turn around. Your eyes seem to pop out of your head as you see Loki standing before you in a green tailored suit with a black tie, a white button up, and a black piece of cloth sticking out of the pocket.
"I found this in the closet, I hope you don't mind," Loki says, adjusting the cuffs of the suit. The suit belonged to the Ex that left you because he said you weren't perfect.
You rub your eyes as if to make sure it's not a dream. "Holy Shit...," you choke out. You're going to faint.
"Miss (L/N)?" he says slowly.
You're swaying on your feet now. You fall, but your full of surprise when Loki springs forward and catches you. You blink up at him. Your mind is fuzzy as is your vision. He felt very real. You could smell that slight tangy, musky scent that was overpoweringly sweet.
Was that cologne?
"Are you alright, (Y/N)?"
Was he concerned?
When the hell did the God Of Mischief become concerned for a Mortal Being? you think.
"Y-You're real...," you whisper.
"I thought we went over this last night," he says, and helps right you up on your feet.
You nod your thanks to him and can't help looking him up and down. "Yeah - Yeah. Sorry," you apologize, shaking your head in disbelief, crossing your arms. "I'm still trying to...," you gaze at him, "swallow it all...."
You jump as Melissa rubs against your leg. You look at her then relax.
"Why are you so jumpy?"
"Why are you being so nice?" you reply, your (E/C) eyes staring into his emerald green eyes.
"You seem to be the only person that doesn't hate me right now, or think I'm unworthy of the throne - I think - or blame me for my actions when I was trying to help Asgard," Loki says.
You don't know what to say. Was he trying to help Asgard? Perhaps.... No one has actually heard his side of the story....
"I-I'm going to go get dressed," You say and back away to your room. You close the door behind you and find yourself with your head bent, panting slight. "Holy shit...."
You take in a deep breath after about five minutes of leaning against the door and escape to your closet where you pull on a simple grey t-shirt and jeans. You freshen up; brushing your hair and teeth.
You blink and pick up your phone on the bed side table. You quickly dial your best friends, Mays's, number. "Pick up, pick up, pick up," you mutter as it continues to ring and ring and ring.
