Riley's pov:
"Maya will you come and meet my uncle this weekend. He's coming over." I asked her. She just looks at me. Why does she do that!
"You know I don't like to meet new people!" She tells me. "Ya, but he's a Matthews Maya. You know you can trust a Matthews"
"Riley, I've met him before."
"Ya,but Maya that was like 10 years ago."
"Your right, fine Riley"
"You couldn't have said no if your coming over for Christmas with us!"
Maya's pov:
Riley want me to meet her uncle, again. The thing is I used to like him. I mean he was really cute but I was like 4. Since I'm going to be spending Christmas with Riley, I might as well.
The only thing that could go wrong is her uncle Josh not like me and end up hating me and leaving like every other person I never knew.
Riley's pov:
I know Maya liked Josh. who didn't. the way they smiled together. I mean they were like 4 and 6 but still.
I'm glad Maya is coming to see my family again. The only person she hasn't met is shawn.
I walk downstairs and into the kitchen where Maya was. "Maya, my dad basically you for me is coming too. his name is Shawn"
Maya's pov:
I've heard of Shawn and honestly I think he's fake but then my mind trails off
