It was my first day at UA High, and to be honest, I was very nervous. Not only was I just starting, but I had never been to public school, I was actually very shy, and to top it off, I was an ex criminal who had recently attacked two of the teachers and numerous students. Talk about awkward.

I was so glad All Might had decided to come with me to make sure it went okay, otherwise I definitely would've lost my nerve and ran off. I was wearing my school uniform and had my mother's locket around my neck, finally being able to wear it since I no longer had the shock collar. All Might had also gotten me a choker to help conceal the scars from the collar.

We stopped in front of a large brown door with "1-A" written on it in red. "Is this my classroom?" I asked him. "Yes. Are you nervous?" he asked me in return. "Very much so. I've never been to school before, not to mention I attacked you and Eraser Head at the USJ. What if they all hate me?" I ask.

"Hey, it's not your fault. Once they know the truth, I'm sure they'll accept you. You have a good heart, and I'm sure you'll become a great hero." he said. I didn't realize how much I needed to hear that until now. "Thank you for everything All Might." I say, truly grateful for all he's done for me. "It was my pleasure (Y/N)." he said.

I then hear a voice behind me. "Is this the kid?" I turn around to see a man with long black hair and bandages covering his face and I notice his arm is in a sling. I then realize this must be Eraser Head. I bow my head to the point that my upper body is parallel to the floor. "I'm so sorry for what I did to you at USJ Mr. Eraser Head." I said, hoping he'll forgive me. "It's alright, you didn't know what you were doing, and besides, I'll live." he says. I breathe a sigh of relief and stand back up.

"And by the way, my name's Shota Aizawa, but you can just call me Aizawa." he says. "Alright." I respond. He then turns to the door and opens it. I can hear the students inside murmuring to themselves. "While I appreciate your concerns for my well being, I'm still perfectly capable of teaching. Now that that's out of the way, I have an announcement to make" Aizawa says. The students go strangely quiet. "You have a new classmate." I can hear the room breathe a collective sigh of relief.

He turns to me and tells me to come in. I look to All Might for reassurance and he smiles and nods. I gulp, take a deep breath, and enter the classroom with All Might right behind me. Once I enter, the whole class looks at me in a mixture of confusion, fear, and in the case of a blonde boy with short spiky hair, outright rage. Feeling incredibly self conscious, I lower my gaze so I'm looking at the floor and put my hands behind my back. "H-hi," I say nervously, still looking down at the floor.

"Everyone, this is (Y/N), and starting today, he'll be joining you on your journey to become heroes." All Might says as he puts his hand on my shoulder. I start to feel a little better, but the feeling becomes very short lived. "All Might, are you sure it is wise to allow a villain to attend a school such as this?" a boy with blue hair and glasses asks. Well, I didn't think it was possible for me to feel worse about my actions at the USJ, but I guess I was wrong.

"While I understand your concerns young Iida, (Y/N) is not a villain. He had no idea what he was doing was wrong. He has been raised in a lab his entire life, and until the attack on the USJ, had never been in the outside world. Additionally, he was never taught right from wrong and did not even know what a hero or a villain was, and when he found out, he apologized quite extensively for his actions. As such, I hope you all can forgive him for his actions." All Might told him.

I decided to try and say something, so I bowed my head as I had when I apologized to Aizawa. "I'm very sorry for everything I did, and I want to make up for it. I want to use my powers for good and be a hero. I just hope you'll all give me a chance to prove I mean it." I say, nervously awaiting their response.
