To burn with desire and keep quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring upon ourselves~ Federico Garcia Lorca

Its a celebration of year end party, where all investors comes together in guise for a get together. The word party is just an excuse, mainly its a business talk in a party setting. Its was a dinner gala party filled with high class people both within and outside Asia. Obviously i am invited because i am part of the 0.001 % high class in Asia.

The host of the party is my good friend/ business partner. And as always, she choses to host all year end party. I am not really the party type but i go mostly for business connection. This year theme for the gala dinner is "elegance". I am so glad because most of her party are themed 1920s, 1970s, musicals, evil witch, vampires, masquerade, etc. This year party theme seems normal. I was even confused for a moment because she never goes for a normal party theme.

I didn't have to stress a lot about my dress because classy and elegance has always being my thing. I wore a sky blue gown from a collection of a Lebanese designer Sadek Majed who is known for beautiful and dramatic evening wear from ateliers based in Beirut. My gown is embedded with 100 pieces Sapphire: Blue Belle of Asia hand made. I wore a opyum heel sandal from saint Laurent made of leather with an open nose, insole with logo print and ankle strap with side buckle which was sent from Italie.

I got out of my Limousine an hour after the party started. I have always loved being late to parties because i love the attention i get from it. Actually a queen is never late, others just arrived early. I entered the venue of the party and pass all the security check. The moment my right foot stepped into the venue, all head rolled. The focus was on me, it feels like a bride walking down the aisle. I have gotten used to the attention. Its what i want anyway.

Its the attention i don't get from my husband. Yes i am married. Speaking of him, we were suppose to come here today but that man ditched me. He has always feel inferior to me and my success . He thinks i only married him for my image. You know how little respect women gets especially if you are not married even if you are successful. I have been texting him, and hoping he would come, but no reply. I need a companion after all.

I got to my table and sat and just watch through the entertainment. Now its time for the casual business talk. I stood at my table while investors and business partner came to say hi, talk about business and go. I stay put where i am, they need me not the other way around. A server came to me with a tray full of cup of wine. I took my wine and just stay put to where i was.

Usually, when i make my grand entrance, people look at me for a moment and move on to other things or just gaze occasionally but there is a man whose gazed fixated is on me. This gentleman seems like couldn't stop staring at me. I tried to avoid his gaze as much as possible but he kept his focus on me. Wherever i go, he gaze follows. I took the courage to look at him for a moment.

Wow, he is really handsome. I mean tall, broad chested with a bicep threatening to rip his suit. He wore a classic tuxedo navy blue and paired with a cravat. Not a lot of men can pull off a cravat because they are a little more flamboyant, so it make them look try-hard. But he pulled it off effortlessly. Then he finished his look with a formal black leather shoe accompanied with his omega wristwatch.
