Time Jump about a year
Matt
"I have no Idea why I am so nervous," I said to kelly
"Matt you are about to ask her brother the two most important people in her life," he said
"Oh im normally so cool around them," I said
"Hey Thing 1 and thing 2," Megan said

"Oh this will be good," Kelly said

"Handsome are you sure your okay you have been off since yesterday," She said
"Sunflower I'm fine," I said kissing her head

I walked to the squad table and sighed
Stella sat on the table in front of me which caught me off guard
"Dont do that," I said
"Well I think me, you, and Brett have a girls night in," She said
"Yeah Matts doing something with my brother's tonight," I said
"Boo," Jay said from behind me
"Fuck," I said
"Did I get for something," I said
"Sos its your one year at 51," he said

"No I need to talk to Matt," He said

It was a slow day at 51 and we only had two more hours to go hostely a few well fare calls here and there but I don't it had been quit. Finally it was time to go home
"Slowest day in Chicago ever," I said
"Next shift will hate you," Stella said
"You and Matt have been together for almost a year," Gallo said
"I know," I said
"Do you think he will," Gallo said
"I don't know," I said
I went over to Stella's to hang out with and girl talk once I got there I knocked and Kelly answered

Stella came running to the door and grabbed my hand

She dragged me to hers and Kelly's room
"You were acting so weird around Jay," She said
"It's nothing," I said
"No even with Matt you are acting weird," she said
"I don't he been really weird around me and so has Kelly its like he knows something," I said

"No I just don't want us to brake up because I jump to conclusions," I said
After an hour I went back to mine and matts apartment, I was driving back and got pulled over
"Great," I said
I rolled down my window
"Liecens and rejerstraion," he said

I handed him my stuff and he walked back to his car, then I saw my brother's truck pull up
"Shit," I said
"Officer what's the problem," he asked
"Getting her stuff is hard," he said
"Oh her that's Meghan Halstead," Jay said
"I got this what happened," he asked
I could see them talking and then my brother walked up to my window
"I know I was speeding okay I have had a bad week all together okay, and yes I.ran a red light I didn't mean too," I said
"Officer Hughes go back on protroling I got this," Jay said
"Yes detective," he said handing Hailey my stuff
"I know.your mad okay," I said
"Get out of the truck," he said
"Okay," I said
I got of the truck and he hugged me
"Hey its okay," he said
"Im letting you off with a warning," he said
"Thanks," I said
After while I was back at mine and Matts apartment and I saw him coming out as soon as he saw my he ran over to it, I was still grabbing my stuff so I didn't see him come up
"I have my keys, my phone," I said
I started to cry from how over welmed I was from the week I had
I got out and was looking down and dropped my stuff, I fell against my truck crying, not mention it was also the 7 year anniversary of my best friends death
"Hey babe I'm here," Matt said
I stood up an hugged him, he kissed the top of my head
