Universe #2: Strange
Aera's POV
Days turned to weeks turned to months. It's been 2 months since I heard the conversation between him and his mother and yet, he hasn't told me yet.
These past few weeks, he's been strange. He rarely calls nor texts me. We rarely meet and if I call him it's either his phone's turned off or he drops the call. Is he meeting the girl?
I am now taking care of my small flower shop. It's past lunchtime and I haven't eaten yet since I have no appetite.
"Ma'am I am sorry but I need to leave now. My Dad is at the hospital right now and no one is there to take care of him." one of the staff here in my shop told me as she fixes her things.
"Sure, I hope your Dad will get well soon," I told her as she left the shop.
I've been busy reading a book when I heard the sound of the bell on the door. I looked up to see who it was and to my surprise, it was one of Minhyun's friends, Jonghyun.
"Oh Hi! I am here to tell you that uhm" he was staring at me, reading my expression.
"That?"
"I uhm saw Minhyun with a girl earlier-" he then went silent.
I felt my world crumble. So he spends his time with her?
"I am also here to buy flowers" I composed myself and looked at him surprised. I looked at him and wiggled my eyebrows.
"Who are you giving it to?" I smiled and tried to suppress my laugh.
"Someone?"
"How am I supposed to know what flowers to give you if I don't know who you are giving it to" I looked at him and smiled.
"The girl I am going to court?" He said in a question-like-manner.
I was about to pick the roses but he stopped me.
"She likes sunflowers" I nodded and picked some sunflowers, baby's breath, and daisies. I placed them on the counter and started to arrange them.
"Should I add some letter or-" he placed money on the counter.
"No thank you and keep the change. Also, please talk to him please" That's the last thing he said and walked away.
Aera you can do this! I picked up my phone from the counter and called him.
He picked up!
"Hello, Minhyun I-"
"Courtney! What are you doing HAHAHAHAHAHA"
"Making you laugh? HAHAHAHAHA"
I ended the call. So he is with her.
"That's where strange things started to happen"
