"The way we didn't get any snow for Christmas fucking sucks." I huffed while taking ta Aaliyah and Pooh over tha phone.
"Right but it's freezing like hell outside." Aaliyah added.
"Its snowing up here." Pooh snickered. "Shit so pretty." She said looking out tha window.
"Bitch, turn the camera around i wanna see."
She put the phone down looking up at her from a weird angle, so she could flip the camera. She had one lash on and already looked a hot ass mess.
Baby got drunk awf ha ass last night at her luh boo's birthday party. All on live n shi.
Aaliyah snorted then took her head out the frame.
Pooh didn't catch on since she was so busy tryna flip it still cus of dem long ass nails.
I shook my head. "Girl, never mind."
"Bitch-" Pooh laughed. "I'm sholl having a hard ass time."
"Bouta rip dees bitches awf." Pooh added.
"Stop get nem 6 feet long and you wouldn't have such problems."
"Shut tha fuck up."
"You shut the fuck u-
"Naw bouf y'all shut tha fuck up." Aaliyah cut me off and we all went silent.
"Yea." Aaliyah said.
"Hoe don't yea."
"Right." I agreed with Pooh. "Bum."
"Bitch your mom."
"Bitch-"
"Oh my God." Pooh sighed.
"I'm finna hang up." I said getting sick of dey shit.
"Hang up den."
"Liyah i will pull up so muhfuckin fast..."
"PULL UP HOE."
Pooh laughed. "Childish."
"Chile..."
"Ayeee guess who get paid tomorrow." Aaliyah stuck her tongue out. "After this check i'm quitting."
I chuckled.
She did this all the time.
"Ima quit before they even get tha chance ta fire me." She says
And it never took her long ta get another job.
"Liyah lemme borrow $50 tomorrow."
"Bitch, no."
"So selfish." I shook my head.
"Keep that same energy you dirty face ahh hoe."
"No YOU'RE the dirty one." Liyah clapped back and i laughed. "I know you ain't washed dat face yet OR brushed dem dirty ass teeth, luh bih stop playing."
"Oh my fucking God." I laughed my ass off seeing Pooh couldn't come up with a comback.
"ITS QUIET AINT NO BACK TALK."
Pooh hung up.
"I know you fucking lying-" I rolled over laughing.
"Now she butt hurt." Liyah snickered while ringing her.
Her face popped back on screen.
"Hey Pooh." I cheesed.
She ain't say nun back but instead propped her phone up. We could see she was in the bathroom now.
She ran the sink water and got her toothbrush and paste. Me and Liyah silently laughed in the background. I turned my camera off.
Liyah texted me but i ignored it cause i knew it was bout to be some petty shit.
"Mmcht." I sucked my teeth at Pooh still not talking.
"Kay when you go back ta school?" Liyah asked me.
"Gotta be back fo Monday." I said turning my camera back on.
"What was that... two weeks yall was out?" Pooh questioned.
"Now she wanna speak. And yea, shit flew by tho."
"Hell i know it did." Liyah agreed. "But you only got one mo year after this."
"Purrrr i'm so excited." I smiled.
College was the worse experience i've ever decided to put myself through but i don't regret it. Sometimes i have my days where i just wanna say fuck it but, remembering how far i've already come just helps motivate me to graduate.
I will get that degree.
"Ima come see you graduate for sure. I'm
already making plans." Pooh said.
"Same." Liyah co-assigned. "I'm proud of you, babe."
"Shit, i'm proud of myself too." I cheesed. As much as i hate school i'm surprised i lasted this long.
Proud is an understatement.
