Minho frowned as he had not yet received a text from any new number. He was really hoping that the boy would text him, but he figured the boy was busy, probably with work of some sort, and thought he might get a text late that night, or the next day. He sighed as he decided to just try to get some sleep. Although it was quite hard when he was hungry and it was then that it occurred to him that he hadn't eaten dinner yet. So he grabbed his phone and went into the kitchen to play on it as he heated up some food. His phone vibrated and he glanced at the time, twelve forty-five.

Minho and Jisung texted back and forth for around an hour before Jisung told the older to go to bed since Minho had mentioned he had work the next day and Jisung didn't want him to be too tired. Minho asked Jisung if he was going to come into the cafe the following day, but Jisung declined, saying he was busy.
After ending the conversation, Jisung quickly hid his phone and went to bed, sighing with relief. He was happy he overcame his anxiety and decided to message Minho. Ever since the older had come to his apartment a few days prior, he found the older to have a safe feeling aura. He found himself able to relax around him. He was hoping he would be able to hide the older from his boyfriend. He missed having friends. He had gotten so accustomed to being lonely the past couple years that he had pretty much forgotten how to communicate with other people, that's why he would leave his apartment every so often, to try to talk to new people even if he knew he wouldn't be able to make friends.
The following couple weeks went by smoothly. Jisung had left his apartment to go to the cafe on Wednesdays and Fridays, afraid that if he went out more than that, he would get caught. He was also able to keep what Kangdae was doing to him away from Minho. Kangdae had hit Jisung really hard one of the days and Jisung quickly grabbed a couple dollars from his savings and bought some concealer to hide the bruise on his eye. And of course, he knew Minho didn't notice anything. Minho introduced Jisung to Seungmin and Hyunjin, and the four became friends, Jisung even getting Hyunjin and Seungmin's phone numbers when the other two gave their numbers to the small boy.
But of course, good things hit blocks in the road.

Jisung was in the shower when there was a knock at the door. Kangdae sighed annoyedly as he got up to answer the door, "who the fuck are you?"
The boy was quick to reply, "sorry, wrong apartment."
Kangdae shut the door, rolling his eyes as he walked back to the couch muttering, "fucking idiot.

Seungmin shivered. He already didn't like the guy. He took a sip of the hot chocolate in his hand. He had originally wanted to give it to Jisung, and it took a lot of convincing his two friends to let him bring the warm drink to Jisung as they had declared Jisung's boyfriend, who they still didn't know the name of, an asshole who isn't nice to Jisung.
Jisung thought Minho didn't notice, but due to Jisung's lack of experience with makeup and acting, he scratched his eye and winced in pain. He had wiped a bit of the concealer away which Minho had then noticed but decided not to question as he had questioned the younger about a different bruise that the younger looked about ready to cry when he answered with a very obvious lie.
