I didn't know what was worse. Mark showing up while I was in my robe or Shawn returning to see that!

In hotel room...

Shawn:  What the hell is going on? Twinkle, you're practically naked! and you, Mark, stop ogling my girl!

Twinkle:  Shawn, I know this looks bad but I just took a quick shower and he just happened to barge in. (silence happens)  Um...

Mark:  Here's the thing, Shawn. I need to talk to Twinkle and that's what's going on.

Shawn:  Well, from what I hear... you have no right to talk to her after what you did and not to mention that she has nothing to say to you. Especially here in OUR hotel room.

Mark:  Look, dude, you know nothing about what's going on and you don't know a damn thing about me, so if you could just give us a minute-

Shawn:  I'm not giving you a second!

Shawn and Mark are fighting... what do I do?! 

Twinkle:  Shawn, calm down, I know you're upset--

Shawn:  Of course I'm upset! I come back to find your ex-boyfriend in our hotel room?!

Twinkle:  It's not like that! There's nothing going on between me and him anymore and I have no idea why he's here now.

Mark:  Seriously, Twinkle? You have no idea?

Twinkle:  I don't! Because as I already told you, there's nothing left to say to each other.

Mark:  But... 

Shawn:  If you don't exit this room right now... I'm going to forcibly remove you myself... and trust me, I'm not bluffing.

Twinkle:  It doesn't have to come to that. Mark, please just leave.

Mark:  Fine. Sorry to have ruined your night. [Walks out]

Shawn:  What the hell? Did he say anything to you? 

Twinkle:  Nothing I care about anyway.

Shawn:  Man, I really don't like that guy and the possessive look in his eye when he looked at you made me really uncomfortable. I think you should stay away from him.

Twinkle:  Don't worry, I plan to.

I stayed with Shawn at the hotel that night but my mind was elsewhere, as much as I tried I couldn't stop thinking about Mark. I wanted answers but at the same time... I was so scared of them.

At home

Mrs. Rae:  Twinkle! There you are! How was the dance? :)

Twinkle:  It was great... at first.

Mrs. Rae:  What do you mean? 

Twinkle:  Well, Shawn ended up surprising me, he showed up with Stacy.

Mrs. Rae:  I thought he didn't want to go?

Twinkle:  He didn't, he knew it would mean a lot to me if he came, so he reconsidered.

Mrs. Rae:  Well, that was sweet but why do you seem so upset? 

Twinkle:  Because... someone else showed up with Stacy, Mark Stanton.
