I didn't know what to do. I had made plans with Shawn, but I couldn't get Mark's invitation out of my head... What would happen if I went to meet him? And what would  happen if I didn't?

At school

Blair:  [Shocked] You made plans with both of them?!

Max:  You dirty girl, you!

Twinkle:  I told you... I didn't make plans with Mark! He just wants me to meet him. It's some sort of test, I think, For what I don't know. This is all so confusing!

Max:  Well, he has some big cojones to think you'd go! Obviously you're not going to break your plans with Shawn. Not even for your sex-on-a-stick ex-boyfriend!

Blair:  Are you sure about that, Max? Look at her face.

(Twinkle's face looking unsure and confused.)

Blair:  I don't think she's decided. I think she's considering the sex-on-a-stick!

Max:  Of course she's not! She has a good thing going on with Shawn! She wouldn't ruin it over a ghost from her past!

Twinkle:  Can you not talk about me like I'm not here? It's giving me a headache.

Blair:  Well, then what do you want to do?

Twinkle:  I made solid plans with Shawn and I want to keep them! He's been really sweet to me, showing up at the dance like he did, going out of his comfort zone by dating me and he doesn't deserve to get his plans blown off.

Blair:  Well, we're behind you, whatever you choose. :)

Max:  Speak for yourself, sister. I love you, Twinkle but the old you was depressing, moping around, disengaged with life. You're finally happy! And you've found someone great, not to mention really hot in his own right, so don't let Mark ruin that for you again.

Twinkle:  I know... you're right It's just, I feel there's something he's not telling me, something about what happened that day.

Blair:  I think there's more to that but the question is... do you really want to know what that is?

Twinkle:  [Thinking hard]

Mrs. Lee was my English teacher, of all the teachers in the school, she was the most eccentric one.

In the classroom...

Mrs. Lee:  I have to say... the poem you turned in today was inspiring.

Twinkle:  Oh umm... thanks. :)

Mrs. Lee:  Was it true? Did you once try to run away?

Twinkle:  I did, I didn't make it past Poughkeepsie.

Mrs. Lee: [Giggles] That must have been some adventure.

(Twinkle stood there silently)

Mrs. Lee:  Are you okay, Twinkle? You're a bit long in the face today.

Twinkle:  I'm fine, just have a lot on my mind.

Mrs. Lee:  I see... and does this have anything to do with matters of the heart?
