"That was quick," Cap says, and I can sense that he doesn't believe Stark.

When I moved into the facility, Nat made me promise that I wouldn't use my powers against them. Sometimes, though, I can't help it. I can always feel people's emotions and tell when someone's lying. Part of feeling emotions, is feeling whether or not the believe someone or something, and Cap does not believe Stark at all.

"I'm telling you, I've done it," Stark insisted.

"So fix us," Clint says, moving to stand next to Nat and mirroring her hands-on-hips position. Only he would be brave enough to do that.

Stark's eyes flick to Nat. "Umm, it's not that easy."

"Oh?" Nat raises an eyebrow, "I thought you fixed it."

"I did, but I had limited time and resources, so it can't just spew out gas like before. Someone needs to be sitting on it, and then only they will get changed until the next person gets on."

"So," Fury says, "Who's first?"

There's a moment of silence, then, in a single jump, Nat is sitting on top of the machine.

Stark shrugs and presses a button on the machine. Nat's borders blur, and, a second later, she's getting to her feet, an adult again.

"That's better." She rolls her neck, and I can hear it clicking across the room. I wince.

Clint goes next, then Stark, Sam, Rhodey, Cap, and then it's just me, Pietro and Loki.

We're hovering around awkwardly. If either of us move, Loki will be exposed.

But Nat leans over whispers something in Fury's ear. His eyes widen and land on us.

"Step. Aside," he says, his expression one of, well, fury.

I don't want to, but Pietro grabs my hand and drags me away from Loki.

"Ehehe," Loki says. Now that he's in the open, he is the picture of confidence: his smile wide, his arms wider. "Hello."

Fury closes his eyes, and I imagine he's counting to ten. When he opens them again, though, they have the glint Nat's eyes lacked.

"So. You're back," he growls.

"That I am," Loki grins, "What are you going to do about it?"

And Fury pulls out a gun from who knows where and points it him.

"No!" I yell, and try to run forward to stop him, but Clint grabs me and picks me up in one arm and Pietro in the other.

"You'll only make it worse," he whispers in my ear.

I curl up in his grip and watch as Fury shoots him in the chest.

The veins surrounding the point where the bullet hit him turns blue, and I recognise the ICER's effects from our first mission.

It must just be a mild one, because he's just paralysed from the neck down, instead of knocked out.

Fury leans over him and says, "You will go back to Asgard, and if anyone ever sees your face on Earth again, you will be killed on sight, do you understand me?"

Loki spits on him, then changes his form into on of an old man and yells out, "Skurge!"

Instantly, a rainbow... thing appears. It looks like pure light, and it's beautiful. It swallows Loki up and, when it vanishes, he's gone too.

I bury my face in Clint's shoulder.

"And you too!" Fury says, and Pietro nudges me. I look up to see him glaring at us.

"If you hide him again, you will be kicked to the streets! Understand?"

We both nod, and, when Fury turns away, Pietro wipes the tears from my face.

Once the two of us grow back to normal, I run all the way to my bedroom and slam the door.

I hear a knock and Vis' voice says, "Wanda, are you all right?"

I use my powers to throw my bedside lamp at the door, where it shatters. I never use it anyway.

"I guess not."
