Chapter 11: A stranger on our carriage

         Well this is an interesting situation  I raised my eyebrows noticing that the short while that I was on the carpet to speak with Koumei, someone new came aboard our carriage. The Prince didn't want to go on carpet, so I had to go inform one of the Prince Koumei's subordinates that that Kouha didn't want to go on the carpet.

 ''P-Pri-in-c-c-e w-who is-s this-s?'' I blinked a few times eyeing the short black haired person who was having their hair braided by His Majesty. The person turned her—his head. I thought he was a girl! I haven't seen many with such long hair in a while. Other than His Majesty, Koumei.
"Hey! I'm Aladdin" the boy greeted waving his hand.

''H-h-i. I'm-m Li—ra-a Blac-ck-kwell-l." Thank the heavens that my stutter is letting up. I don't want to embarrass myself in front of someone I hardly know.

"Anyhow, Li-chan, I let him tag along because we're currently heading to Magnostadt, and he needs a lift." Kouha explains. I glanced at him confused on why Kouha would let a stranger onto his carriage?

"I also needed entertainment so it's perfect with him on board" That sounds more like him.

I noticed that he had a gash on his arm. Kouha followed my gaze to Aladdin. "He got that wound where we ran into some bandits" Kouha explained going back to braiding his hair.

"B-band-dits-s?!"

Maybe we should have went on that carpet.

"We told you that the land route was dangerous" Junjun muttered. Kouha ignored her and continued braiding Aladdin's hair.

This is going to be a long trip. I yawned as I snuggled against the wall.

After eight days we finally arrived at Magnostadt's Checking Station. We parted ways with Aladdin and wished him the best. Soon we found our guide to the country.

"Good Afternoon" said our guide who waved us over. He obviously was irritated with us but I'm not sure why. Kouha glanced at him waiting for him to say more. The guide rolled his eyes muttered something like goi before walking away.

"Follow me" he said when he was quite the distance away from us.

We followed him throughout the city before he entered a mansion. "This isn't where your Chancellor is." Kouha stated. "The chancellor has other matters he needs to attend to." the guide replied before showing us our rooms and leaving.
