Katsuki watched his mother's lips graze her own fingertips. Her leg shook with the anxiousness that filled the tension flowing through the air. His hand tightened onto the steering wheel as he pulled over quickly.
"what's up with you?" Katsuki said as he snapped his head directly into her gaze. He saw her eyes.
They looked so different. So crazed but in a slight way. So anxious that he could see her iris shake. So cryptic and so distanced.
"It's nothing, it's just a bit chilly, don't you think?" Mitsuki said as she looked away from him. She stared deeply into the street as he just watched her in absolute
disbelief.
"Kat, I have some good news" She sang gracefully. "what," Kat said as he now got the car driving. "Since I speak English fluently, and have a teaching license, can you guess what my surprise is for you?"
Katsuki's eye twitched as he heard her. "Are you seriously going to teach at my school?!" Katsuki said as he raged intently while also driving recklessly. "Oi drive properly you brat!"
"Why not? At least I have an easy job..." Mitsuki said as she looked out of the window.
"Yea...but just don't ruin my last year...ya fuckin weirdo," Katsuki said under his breath. He felt a harsh wack at the back of his head as he parked at his mom's place. He groaned in pain and his mom looked at him pridefully.
"Ha I heard what you said"
Mitsuki leaned into the space between the two, pecking Katsuki's forehead. "Thank you brat"
She said with ease as she pulled away to open the car door. She walked to her apartment just as gracefully as she walked anywhere she was. She had that pizzazz to her.
Katsuki sighed deeply as he was driving home. His mind raced with spurs of Izuku. He looked so pale tonight. His small figure almost dimmed under bright light.
He was so quiet, yet so alert. The sound of quiet air reverberated around Katsuki as he parked his car. His knees trembled as he stepped out of the car. He took in a great deal of breath as he regained his balance.
His eyes felt heavy. As they always do. He slowly opened his door to see his disheveled apartment. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed once more. Why did he lure himself into the loss of keeping track of precious time?
time
Such dear beauty. Time flows through. She waits for no one
but people still chase her.
Even with all that enduring stress, she still flows through the empty crevasses of space with her simple yet alluring dress.
And those she slows down to watch
those who are worth looking at
get lost in her eyes
as she stares into theirs
ultimately
losing track of time
in the dreadful
but fulfilling moment.
Katsuki slowly cleaned the apartment. Gathered and organizing his belongings, and he finished by 1 am.
And as he dusted his keyboard, his eyes glazed with desire. He sat down at the jet black bench comfortably and placed his fingers onto the keys. He felt the smoothness of the keys calm him down. And with that one finger was pressed down.
Then another
and another
until the room was filled with soft melodies accompanied by the wonders of harmony. The music danced gracefully with every note that was hit softly. Katsuki with his eyes dim watched his tired hands.
The music abruptly stopped as his hands finally gave out. The soft melodies drained into the void of utter silence. There he sat alone with time. Alone with heavy bags under his eyes.
The darkness that surrounded him led him to his bed. And as he closed his eyes, he saw time whisking him to dear sleep, with her hands signing
5:33
am.
