"Warren? Brenda? Why is there a big gigantic dog in the yard?" She asked. I looked at warren. Was he going to tell her the truth? "It's nothin babe just go back inside, we were just getting ride of it." He said turning towards her. "What happened to your shirt?" She pointe out. "The 'dog' tore it to shreds." He put his fingers up I make them look like italics. "Oh my gosh are you okay?!" She shrieked running down to him. Her hands cupping his chin. His arms going around to her waist. "Yea I'm fine baby, just go back inside so you won't get hurt." She nodded then slowly pulled away and ran back inside. She didn't voter questioning why I was out here. I turned to warren. "Why didn't you tell her?" I asked. "Because I didn't want her to know." He said. "You told me?" I said. "Yea but that was mainly Scott's fault. He wanted to tell you from the beginning. But I wouldn't let him. We have to keep these things a secret. Not even his family knows his true nature. And we won't either until the first year is up. It's different for the bittens." He said. "What do you mean, bittens?" I asked. I was honestly scared to know the answer. "The bittens. Exactly how it's sounds, cupcake. This is how alphas try to get to pack members. Luckily Scott here found me before the alpha. The alpha bit him and he turned. That's why he had to move here. Because he smelt the alpha. We have no idea of where he is. Or why he wants a new pack. But I was born a werewolf. So I didn't get to pick if I wanted to be in a pack or not. I was born as a line wolf. But I think I'd like it a lot better than a pack. If our not the alpha, you can't do anything you want to do. You have to follow the alphas orders. Which sucks. Luckily Scott get to decide. But if you don't pick the alpha then he will get really pissed. Just keep that in mind, will ya Scott?" He turned his gaze from mine to Scott's. wolf Scott walked up beside me. His soft fur at my side. I started to pet him again. "Why are you telling me this?" I asked. "Because Scott wants me to. And he's not able to do that because he's in wolf form. And not able to get out. Only other wolves can talk to him in wolf form. And he's stuck like that ill morning. Like I said before, he'll be real easy to piss off the next few weeks. And don't make his pulse raise." He started walking back towards the door. "I wouldn't stay out here long Brenda. He could go crazy any minute. And he could easily kill you." He opened the door and walked inside. I immediately looked at Scott. His gaze met mine. I got down on my knees so I would be shorter than him. I Started to pet his head. "Your different." I said. Then I smile after. "But I like it. You should sit with me at lunch again." I said. His eyes told me everything. He was definitely in for that idea. But his eyes also told me he wanted blood. Lots of it. And from what warren just told me, It was easy to believe. The main thing that was hard for me to believe was why he hadn't told me? We had been friends forever. Since the day we entered middle school. I stepped up and looked at him. Still smiling. "Night Scott." I said scratching the back of his ear. Then I walked back inside. I heard him howl and run into the dark night woods.
I just told Isabella and warren to forget the movie and dinner. So I told warren to drive me home. He did. We all three said nothing about what had happened at the party. But him being a wolf kinda made since. Like how he always knew where I was. How he herd me from one end of the loudest hallway I the other. How he smelt like dog shampoo. How he jumped and climbed two stories without a single mark. Mostly.....the wolf I hit with my truck. It was exactly like Scott. Eyes and everything. Excepts he size. Wait what the fuck? Am I actually believing this? I guess I am. I mean warren only keeps a secret if its REALLY personal. And I'm pretty sure that is a big personal problem. I though of all the thoughts I could possible think of while I took a shower. I got out and went to bed. I listen to music while I try to sleep. And right now fuck the rest by falling in reverse played. Then I heard a text message from someone. I grabbed my phone, thinking it was Isabella trying I ask what was up with her boyfriend. But when I saw who it was I smiled. The only weird part was how he got my number. And it was like two o'clock in the morning. I guess his wolf thing finally settled down and he was back to human form. I slid my thumb across the screen.
Scott: I wish I could've told you sooner.
Me: I get why you didn't tell me earlier. I'm more mad at warren than you.
Scott: :)thanks. And I want to make up tonight to you. How about tomorrow we go on that dinner and movie?
I smiled so big I thought he would see it through the phones. I must have read that last one over and over before I actually text back.
Me: sounds great! How about six?
Scott: sounds good, but not perfect.
Me: ?
Scott: it will be perfect if warren and Isabella doesn't have to go. ;)
I think I just died inside. He did a winkie face and wants us to be alone. like a date! No, you can't like this guy. No matter how attractive he is or how nice he is, you don't really know him. Of course I didn't listen.
Me: that sounds awesome. They won't go. (;
I had to do that last part. We texted a while after that to. About our next two years in high school will be. Then He said he was trying out for football.
Me:um.....don't you remember that you can't do anything to make you made or raise your pulse?
Scott: yea but I mean how bad could it me? Texting you raises my pulse and I don't turn into my wolf form.
Me: well I can't argue with that. :)
I raise HIS pulse? He does the same to me. I did smiled though. After we were finally done texting in like five in the morning I got some sleep. When I woke up it was around ten o'clock. I checked my phone. He had texted me.
Scott:
I don't wanna hide the truth. I wanna shelter you
But with the beast inside
There's nowhere we can hide
